London Heliport (ICAO: EGLW), previously called Battersea Heliport and currently known officially as the Edmiston London Heliport for sponsorship reasons, is London's only licensed heliport. The facility, which was built by W. & C. French and opened on 23 April 1959, is located in Battersea on the south bank of the River Thames, 3 NM (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) southwest of Westminster Bridge and between Wandsworth Bridge and Battersea Railway Bridge. Prior to the official opening, the first aircraft to land at the heliport on 8 April 1959, was a Westland Widgeon Series 2, owned by Westland Aircraft.
The heliport, once owned by Westland and then Harrods, is a very small site, making use of a jetty to provide a helipad for take-off and landing, and onshore parking for three to four aircraft, depending upon their size. The heliport provides landing, parking and refuelling services between 08:00 and 21:00 (flights are permitted between 07:00 and 23:00), albeit parking is normally restricted to smaller helicopter categories.
Flight conditions and procedures at the heliport prescribe a circuit height 1,000 ft (305 m) above the Thames, in an extended figure-of-eight over the water, to seek to minimise noise pollution for residents in the area and to constrain flight operations to over the river, away from the built-up area. Ground running of rotors is restricted to a maximum of five minutes for the same reason.

I have always been interested in and inspired by Rei Kawakubo's work, her conceptual/visual studies and her challenging, mesmerizing pieces for her Japanese established high fashion and ready to wear brand Comme Des Garçons.
The 'Monster' (ref. I-D Magazine, Boys/Girls issue) collection most specifically inspired my work. Rei's designs and outcomes force an unnatural, alienated sense of beauty on to human character in order to redefine the peoples understanding of what is beautiful and to destroy the limitations in terms of how clothes are constructed and visualised today. For me, this collection evoked dark, constraining notions of a loss of freedom- entrapment, instability, claustrophobia. In assumption it conveyed a struggling mind-set, possibly related to Rei's 'torture' during her design process which therefore similarly relates to the state in which I was attempting to project.

I thought a way to do this was to start out with the intention of not even trying to make clothes, I tried to think and feel and see as if I wasn't making clothes- I only can wait for the chance for something completely new to be born within myself."

MDC-T PORTSMOUTH BRANCH hold first Meeting for 2018
The MDC-T Portsmouth branch held its first branch meeting for the year 2018 on Saturday 26 January 2018.The meeting occurred in the wake of an avalanche of political events and developments in Zimbabwe. This kind of meeting is a branch calendar event which takes place after every two months. All branch members are expected to attend. The purpose of a branch meeting like this is to among other things, conduct party business which necessarily include collection of membership subscription, plan and organise party activities such as fund raising and awareness demistrations etc. Important reports such as the Chaimans and Treasurer's are also presented during this meeting.
There was a vibrant debate on the subject of sustainable growth of the party. This took place.immediately after the Chairman's opening address. Contributing speakers included Mr Banda, Mr Waretsa, Mr Piyo Choga(Chairman) , Mr Kaziboni, the Mrs Zvarevashe and Mrs Mbofana.All the speakers explored possible ways of how to grow our party. Mr Matewu was also afforded the opportunity to contribute on how to grow and improve our party membership in the diaspora
Mr Choga presented the Chairman's branch report which depicted a fairly healthy state of affairs in terms of subscriptions, membership and recruitment. He still encouragef members to maintain the momentum as regards subscription payments.
The Treasurer's report was delayed because Mr Masunda(treasurer) would attend the meeting later.
Mr Matewu presented an exhaustive report on the current situaition in Zimbabwe as regards the challenges, constrains and progress on the Biometric Voter registration exercise and the the MDC Alliance coalition.

This is the alternative cover for FP Magazine's sex issue. It depicts a different perception of what an Arab women looks like today. Something far away from the orientalist perceptions and projects that are found in American media. In addition, she reflects modernity in a way as her face and hair are visible and she has a lip piercing. However, the [loose] veil also shows the constrain of society and religion.

I recently saw an excellent documentary about the White Stripes' tour of Canada.
In it, Jack White talks about his philosophy about 'constraints' and why they are the secret to the band's success. He self-constrains around everything, from the number of band members to show preparation, from quality/quantity of instruments to colour palette. This drives the strange quality and aesthetic of the band experience WAY up the creativity scale, compared to most talented bands that try to make life as easy (and boring) as possible.

The short circular from Askrigg to Mill Gill Force showcases much of what I love about the Yorkshire Dales. Woodland, geometric fields divided with dry stone walls, sheep, and fantastic rivers. All of which are surrounded by shapely limestone hills in wide open glacial valleys.
The route starts with a tricky though delightful woodland walk following the beck past characterful gnarled beech trees. Both Mill Force and Whitfield Gill Force offer dramatic scenery and photographic possibilities, although as ever with woodland photography, cloudy days are preferable to helpfully constrain contrast.
With the walk so far enclosed, either under canopy or within the beck gorge, the optional route back along Low Straights Lane offers a refreshing change as you walk up out of the woods to a walled track that contours the hill. Once again, you are reminded of the big skies and wide open grandeur of The Dales.

TODAY, we celebrate the 110th anniversary of the Declaration of Philippine Independence, recalling to mind the sacrifice of many Filipinos to liberate the nation compatriots from the clutches of colonialism and the many other problems that constrain true human development. In this year’s commemoration, the theme "Republic Service, Tungo sa Ganap na Kalayaan at Kaunlaran" challenges each one of us to constantly put in our share so that we can address the long-standing problems as well as the challenges posed by an increasingly competitive global economy.
My first HDR I am really proud of. Taken on my move across the country from Tacoma to Baltimore. I didn't get to take many pictures as I was on a deadline to get there in 7 days to close on a house. On top of that I was in a U-Haul with 8000 pounds towing my Prius. My speed was 60 the whole way. Ugh....
Anyways, I had to constrain the proportions to this small size as it is 7 shots taken by hand, no tripod, so the tree came out a bit blurry. I just didn't have the time and the truckers would have thought me crazy breaking out a tripod to take a picture of a tree on a highway:)

Fertilizer and pesticides used to cultivate feedstocks, as well as contaminated effluents discharged from conversion plants, can cause increasing levels of pollution to waterways. This may constrain the growth of biofuels production in developed and developing countries with already high agricultural production levels. An example illustrates the level of nitrogen persistent in various regions of the United States and agrochemical use for different feedstocks.

Objective of SLUBGH
The both, Herbarium and Botanical Garden are an integral part of botanical teaching, systematic studies and research; will serve as center for plant biodiversity, conservation and environmental studies.
To set up a Herbarium for the permanent preservation and collections of plants from various ecological zones of Sindh (Indus delta), Pakistan (Floral Biodiversity), supplemented with a library facilities to enhance the teaching and research activities.
To develop a Botanical Garden, depicting plant diversity; includes ex-situ collections of endangered/rare species; medicinal plants; native as well as exotic species.
Rest & recreation to fulfill the aesthetic aspirations of public/people.
The design and layout of plant collections and their careful interpretation for user groups, would also encourage to students of Botany/and Horticulture lovers to create and investigate new ways of arranging and displaying plants within collections, gardens and landscape.
It will serve for long term management and maintenance of plant collections, would enable the students/researchers of various disciplines such as Botany, wildlife and Environmental sciences to study the environmental constrains on plant growth in natural and man-made sites and transplant these to sites where plant collections are to be established best.
Students will learn in situ and ex situ conservation work in practical way.
Garden will provide practical knowledge and skills to the students in the identification, cultivation, utilization and recognition of wide range of plants.
I've been meaning to feature my friend Peter in a photo for a while--very distinctive looking. I did use a snoot on this shot, but most of the lighting effects were done in post. I used a layer mask with a reflective gradient to constrain the light and I used a solid color fill layer and two more layer masks to create the background. I really like how this photo turned out, but I probably should've included an unbuttoned shirt or jacket like in the original.

The line immediately south of New Mills Central packs in a series of civil engineering structures worthy of a restrained space model railway. This is because the river valleys of the Goyt and the Sett did constrain engineering choices. Looking south towards New Mills South Junction from Church Road - The Co-op occupies the site of the former Midland Railway Goods Shed and sidings in New Mills.
Took another trip down to chi-town with some friends to wander around and take photos. I wanted to constrain myself for the day so just used my 50 f/1.8 lens. It was nice because it makes you think about the composition a little more and the DoF is very nice. But i did pop on the 70-200 f/2.8 while we sat at the bean. It's always fun to try new styles and to people watch :)

From 24 June to 3 July 2016, I took part in an open studios event in my part of London, welcoming people interested in art to look at a broad selection of my work.
I used my garage as my open space and chose to include work for a broad range - painting, photography and printmaking.
My previous exhibitions have generally had a theme, constraining me to show work that 'fit' together. For the Open I chose instead to select a wide range, often preferring "neglected" or "forgotten" work over pieces that were more familiar.
The day starts at 7:30 am with a 40-minute drive to the Punta Bandera dock to take a boat on Lago Argentino to Upsala Glacier, a large valley glacier on the eastern side of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Its higher portion lies in a disputed territory between Chile and Argentina. The glacier terminus is at Upsala channel of Lago Argentino. The Upsala Glacier is well known for its rapid retreat that has been ongoing since the glacier was first documented in 1810. The glacier showed almost continual recession up until 1999. The acceleration in ice motion during the two decades preceding 1999 may have been augmented by the release of backstress when the glacier retreated beyond the islands in Brazo Upsala. Another period of even faster retreat started in 2008. As of 2018 Upsala Glacier has retreated to such degree that it no longer constrains its tributary Bertacchi Glacier. The boat then drops us off at the Estancia Cristina, an Argentine cattle and sheep ranch located inside Los Glaciares National Park in Santa Cruz Province. It is here that we take a 4x4 for 45 minutes up a mountain, stop and continue up for another 20 minutes, reaching the summit around 12:30 pm. The ranch was founded in 1914 by Joseph Percival Masters, an Englishman who came to Patagonia with his wife in 1900; Estancia Cristina is named for Masters' daughter Cristina. Located on the coast of Brazo Cristina, a northern channel of Lago Argentino, Estancia Cristina still keeps the history of the Masters family alive. Its lodge has 20 rooms distributed over 5 buildings and it his here that we had lunch followed by a presentation of the traditional Mate, an Argentinean tea and a tour of the ranch. We then take the boat back to Punta Bandera and arrive back at the hotel at 8:00 pm.
so, baroness came to town and i decided to make a poster for this concert. but now a regular one. baroness is famous for their amazing artwork done by their guitar player, John Dyer Baizley, and i wanted to avoid anything similar to that. so i decided to allow myself to use just one font, one color and that is it. the idea was to use futura's shapes to develop the look and feel of everything in the poster and constrain myself to something i never done before.
In an effort to be interesting I'm taking a shot everyday – this isn't the one I actually intended, but it was nice all the same.

The exhibition Human Pyramid by artist Isla Hansen explores the relationship between body and technology, confronting the feeling of oppressive technological progress with objects of play. Through the use of digital fabrication processes and automated technologies in combination with the hand made, hand modeled, hand molded, and hand finished, the artist aims to reveal the myth of automation -- the often hidden human labor that is always a necessary part of using automated tools, often perceived as more technological than our own bodies. Human Pyramid explores the contradiction, absurdity, tragedy, and joy inherent in the human attempt to build worlds and control them through the use of tools and labor. Inspired by DIY home construction shows, erector sets and construction games, objects of play, sports media, and the notion of self-replicating machines, Human Pyramid searches for an aesthetic that reclaims the tools of oppressive systems constraining bodies at play and bodies at work.

I. Pruitt-Igoe & the author
An inverse problem is the framework that is used to convert observed measurements into information about a physical object or system that we are interested in. The statement of the problem does not thoroughly constrain the solution space.
1.Disgregation is the magnitude of the degree in which the molecules of a body are separated from each other. From the state of thermodynamic equilibrium, the law deduced the principle of the increase of entropy and explains the phenomenon of irreversibility in nature.
2.In information theory, entropy is a measure of the uncertainty associated with a random variable. The Shannon entropy is a measure of the average information content one is missing when one does not know the value of the random variable. Entropy is a measure of disorder, or more precisely unpredictability.
3.An individual is a person or a specific object. Individuality (or selfhood) is the state or quality of being an individual; a person separate from other persons and possessing his or her own needs or goals. Being self-expressive, independent.
4.Ecology is the scientific study of the relations that living organisms have with respect to each other and their natural environment. Variables of interest to ecologists include the composition, distribution, amount (biomass), number, and changing states of organisms within and among ecosystems. Ecosystems are hierarchical systems that are organized into a graded series of regularly interacting and semi-independent parts (e.g., species) that aggregate into higher orders of complex integrated wholes (e.g., communities).
