Spreading awareness regarding constipation, piles, fistula, fissure,pilonidal sinus,hernia and vericose veins is necessary.
As age is no bar for such conditions.They can pose life altering consequences if left untreated.
Dr. Parth Sharma diagnosed 46 patients, Tejashree Khalate counseled them, Sumit Tupdhar, Anand Misal and Kiran Arde actively participated during the camp.
All the camp arrangement was done by Arvind Lagad(Social Worker) and team.
Special thanks to Sharada R. Bhore(Sarpanch), and all the honarary Members, Kriti Lagad, Ganesh Mengade, Kundalik Majhire, Mahesh Mengade, Dipali R.Durkar, Prateeksha Mengade, Pandabhau Ozarkar, Arvind Lagad, Aamir Bhore.

Healing Hands Foundation is honored to organise camp at Shri Mahila Gruha Udyog, Prabhat Road, the makers of the famous Lijjat Papad; an organisation that symbolizes the strength of women.
Conditions like piles, fissure, constipation, fistula, pilonidal sinus have a surprisingly high incidence in the population, but shame and awkwardness come along with it. These inhibitions become stronger when it comes to women. One might feel it is only true in rural areas, but surprisingly many urban women sweep it under carpet too.
Madhura Bhate,( NGO coordinator, HHF) addressed the same to everyone present. Suman Darekar ( President, Mahila Gruha Udyog Sanstha),also attended the drive.
Anita Said(Camp Coordinator, HHF) arranged the drive under the guidance of Dr. Ashwin Porwal(President, HHF) and Dr. Snehal Porwal(Secretary, HHF).
82 of the Mahila Gruha Udyog members were diagnosed and counseled by Smita Zade and Madhura Bhate and benefitted with free medicines and expert dietary guidance on anorectal conditions. Ashna Tamboli and Bhavana More helped them with varicose veins medicines. Anand Misal, Santosh Kamble, Vishal Jagtap all were actively supporting the camp smoothly.
It was truly a moment of peace to witness so many satisfied faces!!

Thanks to the assistance of the Vriddhamitra School Sanstha team in collaborating with our Healing Hands Foundation to reach elderly companions at Janta Vasahat, Parvati, Pune. Many of the elderly friends experience several age-related issues, including constipation (not passing stool), fissures, hemorrhoids, fistula, acidity, etc. Yet they are unable to get to the hospital by themselves. We helped these elderly companions and served 78 of them with free diagnosis and herbal medicines. • More than three days between bowel movements
• Stools that are large, hard, and painful to pass
• Incomplete bowel movements and stool backs up in the bowel despite daily bowel movements
Usually, constipation is not serious. However, chronic constipation can mean underlying symptoms. Take your child to a gastroenterologist if the symptoms last more than two weeks."

Today, the Toronto Star reported that Yeki, a 25-year-old middle-aged white rhino died last Thursday, after surgery to alleviate extreme constipation was unsuccessful. From the photo in The Star, my photo is not of Yeki. Yeki had longer, sharper horns. But the Star's photo reminded me of this one as it showed Yeki drinking from this pond. It was in B&W.
