Individuals and children are susceptible to constipation due to poor appetite, low-fiber diet, and insufficient fluid intake or as a side-effect of medication. It is the offshoot of some special medical conditions like Down syndrome, mental retardation, spina bifida and cerebral palsy, too.

Bogbean was boiled as a medicine for constipation, jaundice, arthritis and rhuematism - it tasted foul so I'd guess a lot of paople claimed to feel better prior to the second dose.

or maybe constipation, I get those looks confused all the time

For Indians Paan is a must after meals. There is no doubt that paan is a ubiquitous thing in our Indian families. Paan has its benefits for the body, and they are also known to impact appetites. Sometimes, you might even want a meetha paan and indulge in its flavors, but do you think there are many benefits? Let’s explore 10 benefits of paan.

1. Relieves Constipation-If you have digestion and stomach issues, eating paan will help ease them. This is because of the large number of antioxidants found in these paan leaves. They end up restoring your pH balance, and when you eat it on an empty stomach, you feel yourself having smoother and pain-free bowel feelings ultimately.

2. Boosts Digestion-Paan boosts the production of stomach acids which are required to consume vitamins and nutrients efficiently. If your gut isn’t working appropriately, it’s not going to absorb the nutrients you get, but paan fixes this and your gastric juices, and digestive problems.

3. Improves Appetite-If someone suffering from a lack of appetite and seems to not be getting calories in, eating some paan will help. The leaves boost your appetite and activate the ‘hunger hormone’ by regulating your pH balance.

4. Cleanses Your Internal Organs-It also ends up cleaning your body, flushing out toxins from your inner organs. It also boosts your metabolism and enhances blood circulation to and from inside too.

5. Helps With Cough-Paan also deals with coughing and prevents phlegm formation. Your inflammation due to the chronic coughing will be low once you start eating paan.

6. Eases Bronchitis-If you’ve got an issue of continual bronchitis on your hands, then chewing paan will help clear it up. It will reduce your inflammation and dilate the phlegm, thus boosting your breath by decongesting your chest.

7. Prevents Fungal Infections-Fungal infections can be dealt with by chewing on paan every day. It’s an incredible natural cure for that since the leaves have antifungal properties and give you advantages.

8. Anti-diabetic Agent-Many anti-diabetic medicines have side effects on the body in the long run. Research has revealed that paan leaf can lessen blood glucose levels in individuals with newly analyzed type 2 diabetes mellitus and this is an herbal remedy without any side effects.

9. Improves Oral Health-Studies have examined that chewing paan can inhibit the activity and growth of bacteria because this is popular as a mouth freshener and it can also be used as a medication that is used to treat dental or oral infections.

10. Anti-cancer Agent– Paan leaf is a reservoir of phenolic solutions that possess antioxidant, anti-mutagenic, anti-proliferative, and anti-bacterial properties. Studies have shown that chemo-preventive ability is against several types of cancer. With an excellent source of antioxidants that neutralize free radicals and fight oxidative anxiety or stress.

So, Enjoy the taste of paan with lots of health benefits. You can also enjoy the flavored paan dishes by ordering from Paan Aroma, the best place filled with an amazing and wide range of flavors for you in Paan. Visit their website and Explore the best paan flavor now !! Visit- paanaroma.com/

What a circus Malaysian politics is. Just pretty hard to swallow. Looks like after the poor guy Saiful was sodomised he went straight to our DPM to get counselling. That's fantastic! Can I now refer every tom, dick and harry to the DPM for counselling? Before getting 500 meters to his house you would be whisked to jail.

Then why wait for 2 days before making the report and complaining of constipation. Oh looks like everyone with constipation may have been sodomised.

Me *snacking*: *dunno what to do* hey.. u want some? It's good.. here try it.. 😯🍪

Friend: 😟 *stare* 😫😭

I'd rather feed u than soothe u. I gotta stay away from your drama..😆😅

July 19th and A suddenly say happy bday to me..

A: Happy bday..😃

Me: I haven't born yet. R u hallucinating..😑😅

A: Wat do u mean?😮

Me: 28th! Back then on this day my mom still having constipation I mean contractions, dude.. 😑😤

A: I see.. I'll congratulate u again on 28th.. see ya..😅😅😅

Me: what the.. 😑😑😑

I was born before due date. Doc prediction, I was going to born on September but because of something called force majeure well.. I was born on this month.. and became Lehoe.. (Supposed to be Virgo)

Me: Why was I born before due date, mom..😶

Mom: Oh.. 3 days before that unexpected event, I was watching concert (festival) with ur dad till midnight. Then 3 days later u born.. hohohoho..😗

Me: U pregnant but watching concert!!! 😤

Then they put me inside incubator for couple of days till my dad brought me home and put me inside DIY incubator.

My dad: R u my baby or kitten.. utututu.. so tinyyyy... 😗😗😗 (bathe me, change diaper, etc) (my mom told me that and I was lol) *flex me to his friends and entire neighborhood* look at my baby.. 😎😎

Meanwhile my mom after labor: *chilin* *doesn't have skill to bathe newborn* *have no idea what to do* *chillin* *let's summon grandma*💅

💅

I asked her why she didn't bathe me she said, newborn + soap = very slippery. She was afraid to drop me or drown me. Until one day my dad accidentally dropped me from sofa to floor. My mom smacked his head many times with magazine and didn't cook for him, she said she sulked the whole day. 😆

When my mom in labor room my dad was fainted / lost concious outside the room so.. well maybe he felt guilty.

Me: U said u r a manly man!!! 😤

Dad: There was a moment when a man feels weak inside when he trapped in a bizzare event ... 😎

Me: so uncool.. 😑

He cried too when he was watching mass circumcision.

Dad: my tears was dwelling when that boy's "skin" being peeled by doc..😫

Me & mom: 😆😆😆

Senna Leaves (Senna angustifolia, S. species)

By Christa Sinadinos

Senna is a very stimulating laxative and should only be used for the short-term, temporary relief of constipation. (The author recommends first considering other options such as demulcent herbs, carminative herbs, cholagogue agents, and / or psyllium.) However, when a more heroic treatment is needed, an infusion of the senna leaves is effective. In doses such as 2-4 ounces of tea at a time, it produces normal evacuation of the bowels, but can cause griping if excessive doses are consumed. The author recommends combining senna with other carminative agents such as fennel or anise to prevent griping.

Senna is sometimes used when constipation results after surgical operations, post-confinement, drug withdrawal, and in feeble, inactive bowel states. Senna leaves are the active constituent in the Eclectic formula “Compound Licorice Powder.” The recipe is as follows: combine two ounces each of senna and licorice powder, one ounce fennel powder, and five ounces of sugar (optional). The dose ranges from ¼ gram to 1 gram in water. An additional simple laxative remedy that works well is as follows: make a strong induction of senna leaves and strain. Stew prunes in the liquid until they are thoroughly cooked. Eat one prune 3-4 times throughout the day. Senna may take up to twelve hours to take effect.

**Contraindications: avoid use during pregnancy and lactation, and in children. Senna should also be used with caution with some prescription medications. Avoid using with any inflammatory bowel disease.**

Lady with a busted grill advertises for constipation medicine.

There are many possible causes of stomach upset in children, most of them are not serious, but some (such as appendicitis) can be life-threatening. For this reason, all abdominal problems must be closely monitored and treated with care. To help parents determine the best course of treatment for their child's stomach upset, I have summarized the most common causes of stomach and intestinal problems in children and teens along with their treatments.
