The console trial assembly after refinishing. This is the back side. Unfortunately, I took no pictures before the refinishing. Leaning against the wall on the right are the sections of the sound cabinet that originally contained two 18" speakers and a power amplifier. Long gone, I'll be using my surround sound system augmented with a special subwoofer, instead.
Here you can see how the console attaches to the exterior: a 1x4 Technic axle slides into a receiver on the TARDIS wall / front door.

The organ is split between north and south sides of the choir, this is the north side.
This Hill Organ dates from 1909, and a major rebuild was done in 2016 by Principal Pipe Organs. It was previously rebuilt in 1950.
A second console from Manchester Cathedral was acquired in the 2016 rebuild. Both consoles date from 1950.
It is a 4 manual with 67 stops.

Finishing touches of the manual conversion in place: gaiter & gearknob to match the upholstery colour (Isis Blue), with a matching Momo/Jaguarsport steering wheel for visual consistency...
The robin's egg blue color of this room was incredibly difficult to get just right but the result has been that this is the most calming, soothing room in the whole house. A naturally bright room to begin with, the blue is a soft, flat shade that meshes nicely with our furniture that we already had.
The skirted console is a small plastic folding table (like the kind from Costco or Sam's!) and I made the skirt for it myself. The chair in front of it that you can barely see is actually from a Saks Fifth Avenue that was closing. It was a store fixture and was dip-dyed into PeptoBismol-pink paint. I've since re-spraypainted it a few times. The tuxedo-style sofa was from my dad's office since the late 1970s. It's a delicious green velvet.
