Wide shot of the console from the BBC tour, the new TARDIS console is much less messy, and instead of the clutter of small controls, we have lots of big ones and only a few small ones.

Basic console construction uses oak-veneered MDF. Side legs add strength but flap out of the way as shown so that the pedalboard can be slid out for maintenance.
Every now and then you are in need of self consoling.
(I lack models... so using myself instead... yes I sinned... and I will surely sin again...)
Long Beach, California. This is also a restricted picture actually. please don't sue me, like for real.

This is a work I make when I bump into an unusual, huge wooden board.
In this sculpture, it is chestnut from central Italy, an area called Marche, and I named it "Bestia Marchigiana", also because it reminds me of some animal back, maybe a bull back.
It has three legs in aluminium alloy casting, which are removable for easier shipping.
How can a bull have only three legs? because he is very furious and one of them is ready to kick.
The bundle of wires from the server room below terminates in this control console. The console can rotate to face the different sets. Currently recording Tech News Today (TNT).
"The Console
In the picture of UK's Holtkamp, you can see that the manuals and pedals are some distance away from the actual organ. The entire unit, keys, buttons, knobs and all, is called the console. It has everything the organist needs to control the organ. This one can be moved around the stage. Organs can also have an attached, non-movable console, which the Dobson has. The manuals usually have 61 notes, 30 less than a piano. The pedals duplicate the bottom 32 notes of the manuals but have their own sounds, separate from the sounds of the manuals. The different kinds of sounds available are called the stops. On the Holtkamp, they are the tabs above the manuals. On the picture of the Schantz console, they are the drawknobs on the left and right of the console. "

Learning to drive backwards by using a screen is somewhat scary and disorienting when you first start using one. However, it surely is great to see what's behind you. This is the inside console of my jeep. The screen is a whopping 8.4" square, nice and big. And, if you get too close to something a beep goes off. It's going to be quite an adventure learning how to use a vehicle like this one with so many bells and whistles.
Thanks Everyone for you kind comments/faves, I do appreciate them all.
Have A Superb Sunday And Drive Safely.
