San Francisco Anti-Aircraft Defense Sector Nike-Ajax missile consoles, stored at a secret spot on Angel Island circa 2005.
I have no idea what the current status of this rare & valuable gear is. At the time, it was stored in a semi-secure facility, but the facility was starting to decay. Based on my experience with CA State Parks (2004-2006), it's possible it's still in the same spot now, with damage from leaking water, or it's possible that they put it all in a Dumpster & hauled it off the island to be scrapped. Of course, I'd like to think they understood the rarity & value, and took steps to preserve it, perhaps passing it on to a museum that would put in on display, but...

This playset is a MOC of the TARDIS from the BBC show Doctor Who--made from LEGO. There are better designs out there but this one was developed with two goals: 1) to contain the console inside the TARDIS and 2) that the inside would be larger than the outside. Note that the time column spins. The minifig was based on the 10th Doctor.
Every now and then you are in need of self consoling.

This is a work I make when I bump into an unusual, huge wooden board.
In this sculpture, it is chestnut from central Italy, an area called Marche, and I named it "Bestia Marchigiana", also because it reminds me of some animal back, maybe a bull back.
It has three legs in aluminium alloy casting, which are removable for easier shipping.
How can a bull have only three legs? because he is very furious and one of them is ready to kick.

In the picture of UK's Holtkamp, you can see that the manuals and pedals are some distance away from the actual organ. The entire unit, keys, buttons, knobs and all, is called the console. It has everything the organist needs to control the organ. This one can be moved around the stage. Organs can also have an attached, non-movable console, which the Dobson has. The manuals usually have 61 notes, 30 less than a piano. The pedals duplicate the bottom 32 notes of the manuals but have their own sounds, separate from the sounds of the manuals. The different kinds of sounds available are called the stops. On the Holtkamp, they are the tabs above the manuals.
