What started out as a spelling mistake, turned into the final name for this little thing. It's an Atari Punk Console, with added control. Apart from the shape and frequency knobs, there's an LDR for light control and four screws for body contact.
I made this console room as a custom for myself, it is made from plastic and card. It was built to fit comfortably into an Ikea display case.
In this scene Ian confronts the Doctor, demanding that he opens the doors to allow Ian and Barbara to leave.
Wall opposite the large entertainment center. Again, I think that the green is just wrong. Wall grouping with lithographs of Abraham Lincoln. Need a filler on the table between the lamps to bridge the large gap below the mirror. Will have to wait until my 2 yr old stops grabbing everything within his reach.
Each piece of this beautiful red cedar furniture is hand crafted by a family in Louisiana then sealed with a clear coat to last a lifetime. Proudly made in the USA!
GONE -- Close-up of the great hand-finish. It's the perfect table for the entryway; would add drama to even a small space.

This playset is a MOC of the TARDIS from the BBC show Doctor Who--made from LEGO. There are better designs out there but this one was developed with two goals: 1) to contain the console inside the TARDIS and 2) that the inside would be larger than the outside. Note that the time column spins. The minifig was based on the 10th Doctor.
San Francisco Anti-Aircraft Defense Sector Nike-Ajax missile consoles, stored at a secret spot on Angel Island.
I have no idea what the current status of this rare & valuable gear is. At the time, it was stored in a semi-secure facility, but the facility was starting to decay. Based on my experience with CA State Parks (2004-2006), it's possible it's still in the same spot now, with damage from leaking water, or it's possible that they put it all in a Dumpster & hauled it off the island to be scrapped. Of course, I'd like to think they understood the rarity & value, and took steps to preserve it, perhaps passing it on to a museum that would put in on display, but...
Ikea (discontinued) console from Craigslist.. I don't remember how much I paid but I'm pretty sure it was under $60
2 Target lamps bought at Goodwill (at two different times which was so lucky!) for less than $10 each, the lampshades were Target clearance for $7.
The large print was $20 during an Urban Outfitters Black Friday sale.
The two wicker baskets were a Target holiday clearance find. The yellow basket was $8 from Ross.
Before the PS3, X-box 360 and Nintendo Wii there was a console made by Atari. There was no wireless, motion detecting and vibrating controllers. The console and the joystick you see at the exhibit at SFO is all you had too play.
Awesome!!!

Late at night, when everyone is sleeping, the consoles battle for supremacy.
(Let the rim light flare a bit more into the camera. Not sure which version I like better)
