These jars were 3/$20 at Frog Hollow Farms in the Ferry Building. On the day I was going home, I realized these would probably be classified as "gels". I had to spend another $9 at the USPS office to buy a cardboard box, packing tape and bubble wrap so that I could check the box as baggage. Grr.
If I have this visual reference I won't need to dirty a 2qt. measure as well as the colander that the onions will be draining in.
They keep the lights off in the halls. There are little switches scattered about that you tap and they turn them on for a little while.

A farm protected by a conservation easement with the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy is seen in Talbot County, Md. on July 27, 2023. The property includes 100 acres of working crop fields as well as barns, wildlife habitat, 20 acres of coastal plain forest, and critical area water frontage along Peach Blossom Creek, a tributary of the Tred Avon River. It offers great examples of forested buffers that protect the water quality of the creek and river. Dominant forest species include loblolly pine, American beech, American holly, tulip poplar, black walnut, hickory, cherry, white oak, red oak, and American sweetgum. Cuyahoga Valley National Park conserves and reclaims the rural landscape along the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland in Northeast Ohio's Cuyahoga and Summit counties.
The 32,572-acre (50.9 square mile) park is administered by the National Park Service, but within its boundaries are areas independently managed as county parks or as public or private businesses. Cuyahoga Valley was originally designated as a National Recreation Area in 1974, then redesignated as a national park 26 years later in 2000, and remains the only national park that originated as a national recreation area.
Cuyahoga Valley is the only national park in the state of Ohio and one of three in the Great Lakes Basin, with Isle Royale National Park in Lake Superior and Indiana Dunes National Park bordering Lake Michigan. Cuyahoga Valley also differs from the other national parks in the U.S. in that it is adjacent to two large urban areas and it includes a dense road network, small towns, and public and private attractions.
