The Knight Commission on Trust, Media and American Democracy examines the causes and consequences of a collapse in trust in democratic institutions, with a focus on trust in the media, journalism and the information ecosystem. In addition, the Commission seeks to identify the perennial and emerging values and social obligations that should guide those who produce, distribute and consume news and information to ensure a functioning democracy. To accomplish this, the August 2017 workshop provided Commissioners and participants an opportunity for thoughtful discussion guided by a set of issue-driven white papers and readings.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, inspected a five-story apartment building in Dnipro that was damaged by a massive nighttime missile attack.
The Head of State was reported on the elimination of the consequences of the strike. Two floors of the building were completely destroyed. Nearby buildings and the railway station were also damaged. Two psychological aid centers were set up for people at the site.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke to the rescuers who are still eliminating the consequences of the Russian shelling and thanked them and all those who helped the victims.
Eight people were killed in the Russian attack on the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak reported on this to the Head of State during a security meeting. A locomotive depot was also damaged in Dnipro. Several infrastructure facilities were destroyed in the region's communities.
During the meeting, the President of Ukraine discussed with the regional authorities, military command, and government officials the strengthening of air defense, construction of defense facilities, preparation for the new school year and arrangement of school shelters.
Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, said that the construction of the main water supply system in the Dnipro region has been completed after the Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam.
The Deputy Head of the Office of the President Rostyslav Shurma presented the possibilities of decentralization of energy supply of the region. The issue of providing hospitals with alternative sources of heat was also discussed.

"Emotions in Hungary Ghosts by Peggy Blair ricocheted at a feverish pace from Canada to Cuba. My print “Consequences of Emotion” responded to the change of visual environment, snow juxtaposed to heat, to the disturbing back stories of the major characters and the layers of their complicated histories. The colors and energy of the gestures of my work express the fast pace of these interconnected stories. "

Photage 113: One of the most powerful parenting tools you have is to create clearly defined and consistent consequences. Here's how it works:
For desired outcomes:
When you ______________, then _____________.
For example, when you are finished with homework, then you receive social privileges.
For undesired outcomes:
If you ________________, then ______________.
For example, if you receive lower than a C in any of your classes, then you must work with a tutor.
This type of approach highlights the connection between your teen's behavior and her life experience, which is one of life's most valuable lessons. Her behavior determines how much freedom she has. Her actions establishes her privileges.
This process works best when:
(1) your teen was a part of creating the structure,
(2) everyone knows the consequences ahead of time, and
(3) you are willing to follow through with them.
**ParenTake**
Is there something you are unhappy with your teen about? If so, determine if it is the lack of a desired outcome (like spending time together) or the abundance of an undesired outcome (like a messy room). Then brainstorm potential structures that could resolve this challenge.
