However, what did the conqueror bring them?
Poorness?
Sadly, those who are begging are usually wearing these dress.
It seems that Mayan are usually poor in Mexico.
I hope I am wrong.
But I saw many indifferent people in & out the church.
Maybe they just don't want to encourage begging.
If you have arthritis, even if you do nothing else, read this book: www.conqueringarthritis.com/cabook.htm#why
I was thinking of doing it with K9(to keep it all-Who) but didn't wasn't sure if that'd be bestiality.

"It is not the mountain we conquer but ourselves." - Edmund Hillary
This is Tabletop Mountain in Toowoomba, Australia! Once I finally made it to the top (after many breaks and excessive whining LOL!) I was awarded this amazing view from a tiny cliff. So worth the climb up!!

I love this picture. I'm on one side, the city the other. Visionary.

A Canadian, an Australian and 2 figures did a bullet run of Mount Fuji. Got altitude sickness, lava sand blasted in the face, sunburned, and frozen. Life achievement unlocked!
I did the bathroom, the dishes, went to the greenmarket and put away the clothes with Stuart, who also aced the recycling, the vacuuming, and Trader Joe's.

Don't worry, folks, I've got plenty of pictures from Africa that I know you're all dying to see. I'm developing some today and more later in the week so I'm pretty anxious to see if they turned out well too.
I bought this mountaineering backpack for the Anawangin Trek. It's got everything I needed, except for one detail--it uses a zipper in the main compartment, I wanted a duffel-type one.
It is better to conquer yourfself than to win a thousand battles. Then the vitory is yours.
E' meglio conquistare te stesso che vincere migliaia di battaglie. Allora la vittoria sarà tua.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

If God is for us, who can be against us?

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We got a very special tour of Anna & Abigail's Yard, part of a transformed Roger's Park in Forest Grove, Oregon. Susan herself took us around through the locked gate and gave us a private tour. What a special place it is now! And I finally got to sing "You Can Get Anything You Want At Alice's Restaurant" to Alice, who was happily being pushed by the ever-patient Tom in a swing. The dragon is part of a massive, old redwood tree that had to be cut down from across the street, because it was lifting the house next door up - either the house had to go or the tree. Almost all of the wood in Anna & Abigail's Yard is from that tree!
When we first got Lucinda the dog, back in 2014, she was terrified of *everything*, and we had to really work with her to get her to trust us, and the world around her. One of the things Stefan got her to do in his work with her was jump on things, to earn a treat. She figured it out immediately and, when we take her to a dog park, she jumps on every platform, goes through most every obstacle, without even being asked to. At Anna & Abigail's yard, she thought everything was meant for her to jump on it. Interesting to note - she doesn't jump on the furniture at home ever - not the couch and not our bed.
Inspired by the love of two beautiful girls who left us too soon, Anna & Abby’s Yard is a place "where people of all ages and abilities will experience the joy of play, the wonder of nature and the peace of community connection."
