The air conditioner in my office died today so I moved in to the conference room. What a sacrifice: working in a big room with windows on two sides and working AC. And since it is likely to take a few days to get it fixed and the forecast is for hot humid weather I'll just have to rough it in here for a few more days. It's a tough life!

Just over a month since it emerged from the Toton paintshop in its fresh new DB Cargo livery and with the roof still in almost-pristine condition, Class 66, 66084 heads through Hartford station with another load of sand for the Encirc glassworks at Elton.
The working was running as 6M88 15:09 Middleton Towers to Ince & Elton UKF Sidings.

July 9, 2011 - Cask Conditioned Dry-Hopped E.S.B. from the Merchant Ale House, St. Catharines, Ontario. This somewhat cloudy amber pint was hand pumped straight from the cask.
Extra Special Bitter did not have the same raw hoppiness of the India Pale Ale, but was still well hopped and extremely smooth. A very nice quaff indeed.
