Set off 8 am on Sunday morning to explore an old abandoned summer camp but about 8 shots in, we were chased off the property by an angry man with a beard and riding lawnmower.
Our fearless leader whipped out a Plan B and lead us down the road about 10 mins to an abandoned house exploding with colour and bad wallpaper. All was redeemed, great shots were got and the four of us were on the road home with an entire afternoon open to new possibilities! (I used mine to nap)
This 2009 fully air conditioned three cabin owner's version Leopard 40 design delivers her owner excellent speed and easy handling, while providing loads of light and ventilation throughout the vessel.
The vessel presents in very good condition throughout and provides: sleeping for nine in total, three cabins including the owner's retreat consisting of the entire starboard hull including desk, extensive storage, large berth, an ensuite featuring a separate shower cubicle and air conditioning. To top it off the entire side can be closed off with folding doors for complete privacy. There are two additional cabins as well as a drop down dinette if needed, and another toilet and shower.
The fully equipped galley faces aft and features a serving window overlooking the cockpit. A large comfortable saloon also faces aft allowing for easy communication with those seated in the cockpit. Out back there is a full covered large cockpit offering protection and ample seating.
Economical reliable Yanmar diesels provide the power, and there is an excellent navigation system on board which includes Raymarine E-Series touch screen plotter and autopilot. All the rigging and sails are in good condition.

2011/04/16.RD5860. 60019 BITTERN repainted and restored to pre-war condition as long scrapped classmate 4492 DOMINION OF NEW ZEALAND. She is running the first leg of the 'Great Britain IV', an ambitious special train that covered the U.K. from one end to the other over a nine day period.

Holiday in Turkish Republic of North Cyprus based in Kyrenia (or Girne).
The Kyrenia ship is the wreck of a 4th-century BC Greek merchant ship and was discovered by Greek-Cypriot diving instructor in November 1965 during a storm. The ship was considered to be very well preserved with approximately 75% of it in good condition.
On display at the Flying Heritage Museum at Paine Field 3/9/12 where most of the collection is kept in airworthy condition.
Went to the 5th annual "The 1 Moto" show in snowy Portland. Saw a bunch a rad bikes and met some good people.

This is the signal conditioner board. I made this PCB by hand since it's really simple. I soldered the components as if they were surface-mount type.

so we go from carving dark or light rocks onto cave walls to using coal once we discover fire. there's probably a ton i'm skipping until we get to the knive and we have all the 'craig <3 jenny' carved into trees and park benches, and ahh yes, spraypaint. that's a huge one. change out subway windows to plexiglass and we get legendary nyc subway scratching. a little while later graffiti research labs busts out their throwies,... but now we've achieved some kind of pinnacle with AC mutilation...

The ride to work on Friday morning was cold, as were the errands I ran on Saturday—though I've returned with all my fingers, so we can count that one as a success. I am, however, starting to get comments from people in the elevator at home!

My daily driver, as a teenager, was a late-1931 Model A Tudor. Haven't sat in a Model A in many decades. I'm not much larger now than when a teenager. The Model A, though, has become significantly smaller.

The Shuttleworth Collection "Spring Air Display" at their base at Old Warden, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, SG18 9EP, United Kingdom on Sunday, May 3, 2009. The world famous Collection of over 40 historic aircraft (all in flying condition), cars, motorcycles and carriages is housed within eight floodlit hangars, including a garage and coach room. Because of gusty conditions, the worlds' oldest airworthy aeroplane - the Bleriot X1 Monoplane 1909 - did not fly, but the published line-up for the day included:

The event also included the Alfa Romeo Owners' Club (AROC) "Spring Alfa Day". More than 1,500 Alfa Romeo owners and enthusiasts attendedted and the event saw a fine display of iconic and evocative examples of the marque from the past 70 years. The actual Alfa Romeo P3 Tipo B racing car in which Richard Shuttleworth won the 1935 Donington Grand Prix was magnificently displayed in hangar 5, and an area of hard-standing outside was set-aside for vintage cars. Quite honestly, there was too much to see, do and photograph in just one day!
A fine outing, and one that will be repeated!
