While it looks great after 43 years... its still very old and requires everything system to be addressed in order to have a bike that can be safely ridden.

In any case, a large portion of the advanced world doesn't really think about closing the windows and turning up the cooling when the mercury begins to rise. This is a simple perspective to fall into, in any event, until your cooling separates. All things considered, you may need to call an Air conditioning service in singapore to come and fix the issue.http://www.thebestsingapore.sg/air-conditioning-service-in-singapore/
College of DuPage football players and Western
DuPage Special Recreation Association athletes feel the burn during a recent workout at the Physical Education Center at the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd. Chaparral team members are volunteering their time, helping WSDRA athletes with their lifting and conditioning in preparation for the Special Olympics. The College of DuPage gridders will honor all the WSDRA Special Olympians during halftime at their Monday, Oct. 26, home gain against Olivet Nazarene.
1. I am thankful that I have been catching myself finding excuses to say to myself or aloud, “I love my life!” every single day! Usually during my morning walk! :)
2. I am so very thankful for air conditioning! Oh my.
3. I am thankful for how my personal music player always seems to play the perfect song at the right mood! :)
4. I am thankful for seeing new critters and things that fly in Wascana Park that I had never seen before. I was in the right place at the right time on Sunday to see baby beavers and a mink! :) We have some fascinating birds and butterflies too! :)
5. I am thankful for the open public washrooms throughout Wascana Park because they extend the time, distance and pleasantness of my wanderings! :)
6. I am thankful that it is the season for so many fresh fruits and vegetables! So beautiful and yummy! :)
7. I am thankful I was able to harvest the first five fruits from my tomato plant! YAY! :)
8. I am thankful for the beauty and grace of the huge Pelicans that fly formation(s) over the downtown areas around 8am! :) I swear I will remember to take my zoom lens with me at just the perfect time! ;)
9. I am thankful for how Shiva Nata shakes stuff loose from my brain so I can communicate it more effectively!
10. I am thankful for the new things I have tried with food this week. The things I enjoyed trying are:
* popcorn stove-top-popped with grapeseed oil (I liked it so much that I didn’t even add salt and butter like I usually do.)
* a generous squeeze of fresh lemon in chili a few minutes before I serve it. I like how the lemon made the tomato nicely tangy and go well with the hot/spicy like how it works in a curry.
* a small bit of specialty mustard with spaghetti sauce, serve garnished with fresh basil.
* pancakes made with egg replacement powder stuff made the pancakes crisper when hot and kind of like injera when cold. I also liked the feeling of increased food safety by not using raw egg when the house is so warm. It also gave me the idea that if I made cookies with egg replacement stuff then I could have raw cookie dough again! :) (Raw meat and meat products are not recommended with people that are immuno-compromised.)
11. I am thankful that I was able to have my first afternoon nap in over seven years! It was grand! I feel like me again! SILENT RETREAT on why I was physically unable to nap until now .. just know that my being able to nap again is a very good thing! :) YAY me! :)
12. I am thankful for the person that I follow on Pinterest that pinned a placard saying, “The past prevents the future”. Although reading it I felt really angry in a, “WTF is this person thinking What a load of crap!” sort of way .. but now I find the usefulness in seeing the pin! My first reaction to note was that it says that my first transplant would have prevented the gloriousness of my current transplant. Not in my world! It also says that because my mother and sisters have gray and white hair that it would prevent me from having brown hair. Not in my world! It says that a person that had that extra banana-nut muffin yesterday is prevented from having a joyous life now. Not in my world! Then it got me thinking about other things that haven’t gone how I wanted them to go in the past .. had I been using them as an excuse to not let good things come to me now? Hmm, maybe the thing that really bugged me about the placard was that I WAS using past stuff as an excuse! Guess I can stop doing that now! ;)
Thank you for you. To quote Hugh MacLeod, “This is totally stupid. This is utterly moronic. This is a complete waste of time. I’m going to do it anyway.” If it feels better to do it, go ahead, you can always change when it no longer feels better/good to do it. Like I’ve said before, it is okay if you don’t know right this red hot minute. You are figuring stuff out as you go. There is more evidence everyday. You can tell in the way you feel. It does get better the better it gets. Keep on keeping on and remember to take care of you and your loving ones. :)
Most of the Renton-Seattle buses lack air conditioning. On a particularly hot day last summer, when opening all the windows was insufficient to make riding in a large tin can bearable, a kind driver opened the front door to let air drive through the entire bus.
Taken from the bus.
A lampost near me, one of many similar.
I love the way the layers all show.
I expect some folk will think it should be repainted, but that will be a waste of council tax, as they will all eventually be replaced.
The longer that takes the better, I say!
1982 Raleigh Royal Restoration
I purchased this Raleigh Royal to replace my worn out touring bike. It was in very poor aesthetic condition with a lot of surface rust however straight and free from damage. Most importantly it was made from Reynolds 531 tubing which comes from an era of bikes that I enjoy. Being in its original form it lacked the necessary additions that allowed it to be built up into a modern touring bike. Off to the frame builder with a list of modifications needed to install the new equipment I had purchased for it. Once complete it was powder coated and the original decals applied.
The modifications included;
• Bottle Holders on the seat tube
• Bottle Holder under the down tube
• Replace rear derailleur eyelet (chain stay)
• Remove existing cable guides under BB and replace with new
• Mudguard eyes on the rear drop outs
• Gear Lever Bosses (remove existing shifter tab from down tube)
• Cantilever bosses 700c
• Front rack braze on
• Threadless steerer
• Cantilever Bridge
• Pannier bosses on the rear seat stay
• Bottle cage boss to front fork, rear chain stay bridge and seat stay bridge (for mudguards)
• Rear wheel clearance on the chain stay for 10 speed cassette
• Fill 3 original headbadge holes on the headtube
Pats List;
• Headset - Chris King 1”
• Rear Derailleur – Shimano XTR 952
• Front Derailleur – Shimano Dura Ace 7803
• Crankset - Shimano Dura Ace 7803 180mm 52/39/30

This is a photograph from the seventh annual Donadea 50KM Ultramarathon which was held in Donadea Forest, Donadea, Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland on Saturday 13th February 2016 at 10:00. The race was also an International Association of Ultrarunners Silver Label Event and the Athletics Association of Ireland (AAI) National 50KM Championships. The race completes 10 loops of a very well known 5KM trail around the circumference of the forest. Most of this trail is in very good condition with good conditions underfoot for the entire 5KM stretch. The start-finish area is located close to the coffee shop area in the center of the park beside the now ruined and abandoned Donadea Castle. This year, like all previous events, was a fantastic event with great support around the course for the athletes. However the structure of the course with the repeated loops makes a great atmosphere for the runners themselves with great camaraderie being shown amongst all of the competitors. This is one of the most popular 50KM races in Ireland. A garmin GPS link is available here [connect.garmin.com/activity/70206204]
Want to use this photograph or share it? Please read/scroll down a little further to find out how - it's very easy!
We have a full set of photographs from the event today on our Flickr photostream in the following album: [https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterm7/albums/72157664641851105]
Where is Donadea?. Donadea Forest Park is situated in rural north Kildare and is approximately 640 acres in size. The amenities at the forest include good walking trails, a diversity of natural habitats, a walled stream, a large natural lake, and the ruins of Donadea castle. The Park is a designated National Heritage Area. The basic designation for wildlife is the Natural Heritage Area (NHA). This is an area considered important for the habitats present or which holds species of plants and animals whose habitat needs protection. It is a special occasion to allow the 50KM to be held in this environment.

Let's get a bit technical: We use Creative Commons Licensing for these photographs
We use the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License for all our photographs here in this photograph set. What does this mean in reality?
The explaination is very simple.
Attribution- anyone using our photographs gives us an appropriate credit for it. This ensures that people aren't taking our photographs and passing them off as their own. This usually just mean putting a link to our photographs somewhere on your website, blog, or Facebook where other people can see it.
ShareAlike – anyone can use these photographs, and make changes if they like, or incorporate them into a bigger project, but they must make those changes available back to the community under the same terms.
Above all what Creative Commons aims to do is to encourage creative sharing. See some examples of Creative Commons photographs on Flickr: www.flickr.com/creativecommons/
I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. You might find some links for further information above.
Don't like your photograph here?
That's OK! We understand!
If, for any reason, you are not happy or comfortable with your picture appearing here in this photoset on Flickr then please email us at petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com and we will remove it as soon as possible. We give careful consideration to each photograph before uploading.
I want to tell people about these great photographs!
Great! Thank you! The best link to spread the word around is probably http://www.flickr.com/peterm7/sets
