Song Trees
Laulupuut, or Song Trees, is a striking sculpture located in Helsinki, near the Helsinki Music Centre. Created by Finnish artist Reijo Hukkanen, it was unveiled in 2012 after winning the Helsinki Music Centre Art Competition in 2010. The sculpture is inspired by Aaro Hellaakoski's poem "The Pike's Song", which is part of Finland's literary heritage.
The artwork consists of three main elements: a 13-meter-tall pike, with alder branches entwined around it, and two vertical towers made of concert grand piano lids and firewood piles. The combination of these materials reflects a blend of Finnish cultural imagery and musical themes. The sculpture is made of aluminium and steel, showcasing intricate craftsmanship and innovative design.
The Concertgebouw, Adolf Leonard van Gendt, 1881 (completed 1888). Arguably the finest concert hall in the world due to its acoustics, home of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
This is outside of the entrance to the concert hall. They served drinks and desserts here.

Classical Concert in Shenyang, China - Ying String Quartet, Eastman College
Three years ago, my hometown Shenyang, Manchurian city in northeastern China, opened a new complex for performing arts - Shengjing Grand Theatre, which consisted of an 1800-seat opera house, a concert hall, and a multiple-functional playhouse. During day time, the diamond shaped dark complex looked like a squatting tortoise; when the night arrived, the many lights dotting its transparent surfaces gave it a look of a giant gemstone, though the constant shifting of the colors of those lights was rather cheeky.
The Sage Music Centre. Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Designed by Foster and Partners.
On the National Register of Historic Places. They are very fortunate to have this fine facility in this small resort town! (It's really more of a concert space/lecture hall than a conventional theatre space, but it's still a gem.)
