Conceptual shoot

I’m going to say something about this image, this was a piece that came into my head just me and the model , not MUA not fancy lights just raw

The concept it’s about addictions and my personal experiences with them

When you are hooked on something your vulnerable (hence the nudity)

you look soulless ( the white paint and white eyes )

You can’t feel emotions or if you don’t there not with the full force (the white hands)

You can be at your most beautiful but also at your most damaged

I wanted to use sian for these reasons , she portrayed it perfectly

and I don’t care if no-one likes this

I did this for me and anyone else out there who has been a slave to addictions or perhaps still fighting them

forget ur problems n keep fly....

Bicycle designs are generally good conceptual models. This one in particular is a good model because the entire mechanism of the machine is for the user to see and observe. There is no plastic cap or covering on the gears. The gears are fully exposed and the user can see that pedaling is able to turn the gears and move the back wheel of the bicycle. Because of this, he can then predict what happens if he pedals faster or slower. This conceptual model is not only affected by bicycle design but also largely by culture and previous experiences with bicycles.

The wondering about the history of the ball and how it ended up here is why this shot ended up in this category

Sterling silver, loose powder, ribbon and thread.

When compact is opened, loose powder spills out to create a "brooch" on the unsuspecting viewer.

what is beauty? real size, or fit? make-up, or natural? natural hair or burning it?

Some initial design ideas exploring the concept of freedom through thought.

-The first image refers to lack of creativity and imagination due to the external influence of society. The symbolism of eggs/eggshells is important because it suggests concealment (of ideas and free-thinking) and links with perception. Some people see an egg, whereas others see opportunity and endless possibilities. Through the imagination and optimism, creative thought enables freedom.

-The sketch on the right suggests a transition or a journey. By exploiting the way we percieve images, I have created the illusion of a ladder through the use of composition, colour and parallel lines. The top of the ladder represents ambition and aspiration - the desire of freedom and success. Yet the exposed torso suggests exploitation and vunerability - the character feels scrutinised by others and open to criticism. With a bowed head and hidden arms, she is insecure and unsure of the future.

The symbolism in this piece is vital; the ladder represents a life journey and ascention to better things. Ladders provide support and stability, but the gap between the arms of the ladder and the arms of the character implies a lack of these.

Some buildings stand in the next with many trees. There are nature and a building in a good balance.
