A general purpose two-person EVA unit, commonly used to construct, inspect or repair sections of the ISS-B.
Work boats sported second-generation manipulator arms, tentacles more precisely; the biomechanical design was found to be superior to the older jointed boom arms as the tentacle's algorithms would find the best route to the grasp point and also be capable of reaching through complex station beamwork. In effect, the workers could remain stationary with the arms found it's own way to it's target point.
From the book The Art of The Last Jedi. Don't get me wrong, I really loved the movie. But I do have a few design preferences I would've changed.
Like the bomber: The long tube designs look great, retain both the WW2 vibe and the 70s sci-fi look. The decision to go vertical is fine but it feels like it ended up a compromise, the end shape being a right angle square. A tad too goofy for me. At least keep the wings wide: it offers a larger target and suggests a tightrope walker balancing.
What do you people think? Like? Dislike? Meh?
Made these in an attempt to visualize the world I've been developing for a book I'd like to write one day. It's more fun to build LEGO than draw concept art.
From left to right they are: a Royal Soldier, a merchant, a farmer, a milk maid, a book keeper, a sea captain, and an innkeeper.
Also, a note on my absence: I haven't lost interest in LEGO or anything like that, I've just been focusing more on brickfiming lately and haven't really had that much inspriation to MOC. School theater has been keeping me busy, too.
A concept super car with the essence of livery inspired by the McLaren MP4-30 formula one racing car.
The Diàlogos is a concept car by Ford, first shown at the 1998 Turin Motor Show. It was designed by Pietro Camardella and Marco Tencone. Some of the design elements of the concept found their way to the Lancia Thesis. Seen here at an exhibition celebrating 40 years of Auto&Design magazine at the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin.
This Formula-style concept car was constructed using parts exclusively from the Mini Vespa, Set #40517 and a pick a brick cup bought at my local Lego store. The limitation on parts led to a lot of creative solutions. Overall I am very pleased with the shaping. Watch out for more mocs using the same pieces as these are all I have at the moment :)
Yes, it’s a photo of a TV screen, but I quite like the effect, almost appearing to be a negative image. Camera post-processing was simple conversion to monochrome.
September 28, 2014 saw the long-awaited grand opening and dedication of the Cadillac & LaSalle Museum at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan. General Motors brought the 2003 Cadillac Sixteen concept car to the grand opening and it drew lots of attention. Weighing 5000 lbs., the car is powered by a 13.6 liter 32 valve V-16 engine producing 1000 horsepower at full displacement. However, "displacement on demand" technology is used to operate on either four or eight cylinders when full power is not needed.

Unlike many other early space station concepts, this design actually made it out of the concept phase and into production, though no models were ever flown. This particular station was 30-feet and expandable. It was designed to be taken to outer space in a small package and then inflate in orbit. The station could, in theory, have been big enough for 1 to 2 people to use for a long period of time. A similar 24 foot station was built by the Goodyear Aircraft Corporation for NASA test use. The concept of space inflatables was revived in the 1990s.

A concept I've been wanting to do for some time now and I finally did it! The editing itself took about 3 hours and consisted of many many layers. At first I wasn't sure about the outcome but now I think, the more I look at it, the more I like it. Thoughts?
