The project should deal with colors and their effect on well-being, feelings, expression and thus on human psychology. When I realized that there was so much more to tell through this project, I began to develop it into an overarching concept. The language of images should not only shed light on the linear theories of the psychological effects of colors. The pictures with the help of the language of colors should tell a story, describe a situation, let thoughts wander into the future or the past, inspire our fantasies.
I used milk, acrylic paint, liquid soap and oil to create this amazing arts.
Every picture tells a story, but I desided not to explane the story behinde each one, but invite you to give your own meaning and your own feelings when you look at the picture. I belive that makes more fun:)

The last of the Piano trail, photos... Some of you may remember I posted a few of these a week or two ago... this was Godfrey, our old piano which we had looked after for over 20 years, and we donated him to be part of the piano trail-celebrating the 150th birthday of composer Erik Satie.
The artwork, by Peter Granville Edmunds, is titled Mystical Concepts.

Concept: The 21th century ethos (if my arms are not being stretched too far calling the (post)modern egobehaviour that way) should be contingent: i.e. era dependant, fogged with that rational individualism occidentally self-declared as "envied of". But what happens with mundane Events, still parented with the mentioned ethos (at least that's what we think), but left defenseless to Casuality (which is, of course, the domain of Vitality, Nature, the Unspoken (as in "beyond the human"))? Does Reality beyond our eye (and mind) exist, and if it does (and it's uncontaminated), why do we keep pumping our synapses further into issues not in our reach (absolutely not)? Like accidents, for example.
Background: Unwordly phenomenons (accidents), ah, not ours, unrational, not structured, Events, ever foreign, "unexistant", right? They were never in the palm of our hand (even if more than frequently veiled with pseudorational religious (and scientific) explanations (and explications). But it's Casuality "playing" with our centripedal ego (the all-knowing God after God died by our rational weapons), seizing us (and not the other way around, Kantian child).
Manipulation info: Again a shot overlayered with a couple of textures (some made by myself with brushes). The sky is a collage of clouds, the lower portion with the breast a shot of an unknown model of mine (?;)) and the playground too an old shot from the mount Slavnik. The man being fired off (accident) was brushed in and motion blured.
I'd really like to apologize for my obvious absence on Flickr to all my friends here, especially those that never miss to support my works. I feel kind of bad not being here and sharing thoughts with you and thanking each one of you individually, but I hope you understand the busy period of mine;) I'll be back as soon as possible. "Master Peace," a sculpture of one thousand, cast metal cranes as their wish for peace. Another Antelope Canyon shot. Most people really go for the light shafts (even I did) but the abstract lines/curves/waves are the true beauty of the canyon. Check out mike.irwin's shots of Antelope Canyon as well. His are fantastic!
This one may be a little too dark for most people, but my goal was to show the mood of this magical place. It's a beautiful, constant changing, sad place.

While Lemuria was proposed as a concept in biology/geography in 1864 and is not real, if it were real it would exist in 1650-1730 too. What is it? Two interpretations. Scientific one: Lemuria was a hypotetical continent that would explain lemur (and other) fossils' similarities between India and Madagascar; it would have submerged millions of years ago into the Indian ocean, breaking the bridge between the areas (this hypothesis no longer has any value). Pop-cultural/esoteric interpretation: Lemuria is a submerged continent that housed one of the world's earliest civilizations (20 000 years lasting), much like some believe Atlantis would.
By the lack of lemur skeletons and presence of ruins it should be obvious I took the pop-cultural approach, inspired by the song Lemuria by Therion.

This concept is centered around a base with a crystal force shield thingy. Maybe there is a generator inside the base that can produce a shield large enough to surround the outpost, blocking it from being scanned, etc. It was about playing with scale, mixing the small with the very large. A sci-fi lunar outpost doesn't always have to be under a dome, it could have any shape, it's science fiction baby!
This is my third attempt at this picture; it's a big improvement on the previous two but I can still see at least one mistake, lol.
The avenue through the garden is No Man's Land, you walk the path of the dead. A place for reflection on the terror of war.
It started off as an abstract but always, always, the mind seeks to find meaning. It's a struggle to keep any creation purely abstract, I find.
Built as a possible replacement for the Dolomite. This would have been quite a radical move away from the more traditional Triumph designs had it been produced. Looks a bit like a Citroen to me.

A Space Police Concept model - first shown in Brick Journal a few years back. This one was the first loop of amalgamation of ideas from the other sketch models. Too squat and compact though, and no room for a prison pod so it all spread out a bit, but you can see the beginning of the Space Police side of Hyperspeed Pursuit here.
This is the last of the SP3 concepts for now.
I stumbled across a TIE Fighter concept that I positively adore, and knew that I had to try and render it in Lego. This is still a preliminary stage, but a physical model is also in the works.
