Another one with the faux motion app effect. You know, it's the weirdest thing, these doctored still images you see around are like modern day equivalents of the Penrose stairs or M.C. Escher’s Waterfall. No contest in originality obviously, but much like them, these make you feel funny between the ears by just looking at them.

These are pretty big files and it'll take a while to upload them for viewing.

And yes, I am aware the snow goes upwards, but you know, I don't think it's snowing here. It's the fierce Hoth winds blowing it off the ground. :D

These were taken in the attic of the abandoned hotel. The light was so beautiful <3

If you have nothing to give

you can give me your smile

and we could deceive ourselves

we're not alone for a while

we call it tomorrow but

it's a shade of all the past

will the sun shine on us through

all the shadows that we've cast ?

as our story goes far

it gets more and more absurd

from where it came and to where

will go this desperate horde ?

let there be hope and let's pray

let's dearm of blue beyond grey

may you will find salvation

but not before you stray

human life comes to an end

soon or late , always so dull

forsaken by all savers

but may the love save us all

DEMO

The XP-300 was introduced to the public at the Chicago Auto Show in February 1951 and later featured in GM's 1953 Motorama tour. It was also displayed at various auto shows across the United States. It was powered by a 335-horsepower supercharged V8 engine that could run on either gasoline or methanol. Its performance was impressive, with a claimed top speed of 140 mph (230 km/h).

The XP-300 featured a wraparound windshield and push-button power windows and seats, which were quite advanced for the era. The car could be jacked up by the push of a button if it experienced a flat tire. It had dual box-shaped fuel tanks, one for gasoline and one for airplane fuel, lined with aircraft-inspired rubber bladder systems.

Despite its innovative design and powerful performance, the XP-300 was never put into production. The advanced features and materials used in the car made it too expensive to produce for the mass market. Also, the market wasn’t quite ready for the car’s radical departure from conventional vehicles in its design and technology.

The XP-300 remains an important piece of automotive history and is currently on display at the Alfred P. Sloan Museum in Flint, Michigan.

The avenue through the garden is No Man's Land, you walk the path of the dead. A place for reflection on the terror of war.

It started off as an abstract but always, always, the mind seeks to find meaning. It's a struggle to keep any creation purely abstract, I find.

Built as a possible replacement for the Dolomite. This would have been quite a radical move away from the more traditional Triumph designs had it been produced. Looks a bit like a Citroen to me.

Some more developed ideas. Mostly for space stuff.

A Space Police Concept model - first shown in Brick Journal a few years back. This one was the first loop of amalgamation of ideas from the other sketch models. Too squat and compact though, and no room for a prison pod so it all spread out a bit, but you can see the beginning of the Space Police side of Hyperspeed Pursuit here.

This is the last of the SP3 concepts for now.

From the book The Art of The Last Jedi. Don't get me wrong, I really loved the movie. But I do have a few design preferences I would've changed.

Like the bomber: The long tube designs look great, retain both the WW2 vibe and the 70s sci-fi look. The decision to go vertical is fine but it feels like it ended up a compromise, the end shape being a right angle square. A tad too goofy for me. At least keep the wings wide: it offers a larger target and suggests a tightrope walker balancing.

What do you people think? Like? Dislike? Meh?

Hopefully an ongoing project that I'll be working on, which is creating Hero Factory set concepts. All parts are created digitally using CAD software, so technically the custom pieces could be produced in reality, as I've tried to ensure they have sensible shapes and thicknesses.
