There are lots of lay -by on the way south from Ullapool. These two mountains overlook Loch Glascarnoch. They have felled a lot of trees near here and looks so much more empty because of it.

A view over loch Glascarnoch toward Beinn Dearg and Cona Mheall in Ross-shire Scotland. Took this long exposure after descending the nearby corbett Beinn Liath Mhor Ghiubhais Li the other day. Liked the way the sun shone on the hill side and reflected off the snow patches creating nice contrasting hues.
