Young imaginations run wild as a discarded keyboard, with mouse wire attached to a plastic lunchbox, gives these children the make-believe thrill of playing hands-on with a “real” computer.
This is my Office / Computer Room / Editing Work Station. There is now a Mac hooked up via a KVM to this as well, not pictured, because who the hell cares about a mac, it barely gets used, because I CAN DO EVERYTHING IT CAN DO AND BETTER ON MY PC. Why did I get a Mac? I have no idea? Garbage is what they are.
This old frame for a PC I found on the banks of the Meduxnekeag river. It was low tide at the time. Later, I found out that somone had taken the memory cards out and smashed them on the beach. That was bad. Those cards had lead and other harmful things in them.
Last I checked, this was still there.
milano è tipo un grosso computer.
è grigia, con tante lucine
a volta si spegne, salta tutto
piena di spie, e virus, e guai tecnici.
ma ci sono spazi pieni di memoria
pieni di ricordi, carichi di giga e giga di ricordi e file fondamentali.
qualcuno non si apre più.
qualcuno è stato cancellato.
o sovrascritto troppo in fretta, ahimè.
memoria esterna
circonvallazione interna
periferica di periferia
un hinterland da internet
Search and destroy.
From Wikipeidia:
The Texas Instruments TI-99/4A was an early home computer, released in June of 1981, originally at a price of USD525. It was an enhanced version of the less-successful - and quite rare - TI-99/4 model released in late 1979 at a price of $1,150. The TI-99/4A added an additional graphics mode, "lowercase" characters comprised of small capitals, and a full travel keyboard. Its predecessor, the TI-99/4, featured a calculator-style chiclet keyboard and lacked any provision for lowercase text.
Cluttered area that I want to fit all of the computers into.
18/365: A crash day, but I thought about how I wanted to reorganize the computer room a little bit.
This is a picture of a laptop keyboard that was sitting on my desk that happened to have fallen victim at my attempt of creative photography.

One sample of the many computers we see with dust and cobweb buildup. This one is only slightly remarkable due to the way the cobwebs stream back from the front case fan.

This is me and my computer monitor. Only 2 year's to go before I finish my degree! (I'm studying as well as working full time, so my degree is taking me 4 years in total).
Those who know me will notice I am growing my fringe out. :-)
