Both screens are run by the laptop. I use the wireless natural keyboard instead of the laptop's keyboard. There's a mouse offscreen to the right.
Both my classes were canceled today, leaving me with time to spare. I used the opportunity to whip up a little web app to making gift giving for my family a little easier this year. And since I sat indoors in a chair all day, I come upon the nightly deadline with no exciting picture to share nor even a ray of sunlight. I will force myself out and about soon. This wax is then cast with the lost wax method to produce a rough silver piece.
This pendant took about 90 minutes for the machine to carve the wax form. The wax was cast to sterling silver and I cleaned and polished it up. My intention was to create a wood texture but I have been told that this piece looks like a scene from space (galaxies) or watermarks.
