-- 20 years: desktop-based computer is no longer the centerpiece. Comptuers will be in our clothes and in our bodies... so it won't be the primary tool we use to access the promiseland.

I finally, finally, finally got my laptop today!! We're required to buy one to attend the school but since my loan check was such a pain in the ass, I couldn't get mine when classes started...it made my PhotoShop class particularly difficult lol But I've got it now...yay for new toys!!

First look at my new laptop: macbook pro

I imitated a the compostition of a Hongkong postage stamp. The image on the stamp was originally a combination of a modern calculator and an acient Chinese abacus, which I found quite interesting

This is my new computer that is busy uploading my pictures. I was part of the first round of people to get them because I took a computer class this summer. Everyone else has to wait until the end of September. Now I have mad powers.

Alright, this is admittedly not a particularly interesting photo - but the subject matter is! For me, anyway. This is my brand new computer. I love it.
