Shortly after I got my new MacBook, this is what our dining room table looked like as I transferred files from the two old ones.
Taken w/my BlackBerry Pearl cameraphone.
This was Pentium 3 machine. The motherboard had already plenty of stability problems and it totally stopped working when I was playing with it and legos. The MB was from small size Fujitsu desktop. Everything was integerated to one MB. If I remember correctly, it was running Slackware 10.0.

I got out my Dad's Dragon 32 as 'research' for my Retrocity article on MOREtotheGAME.
Unrelated: Today, as I was walking around town posting suspicious-looking items, I saw a sad sight. Borders is closing down, and half the shelves were empty. A long queue of heartless scavengers were making the most of the bargain prices. Everything must go, apparently.
This computer lived on a lino floor behind a counter in a business. There were covers missing on the rear of the case. There were also other holes in various places. The computer was left running most of the time - offering a nice warm environment.
Result? Mice moved in, bugs moved in, geckos moved in... the system was a mess internally. Some of the liquid wasts of these infecting mice/bugs/geckos/whatever had settled on the motherboard. I guess some of it was caustic enough to start eating away at the PCB tracks.
If you dont get this comic, then you are either a rarity in internet dwellers or female. not because its a shitty comic, no... perish the thought.
Students are able to use these computers for up to two hours. The computers are equipped with software ranging from Microsoft Office to Adobe Photoshop.
