Left Cynthia in color, I think she really Pops from this background. Converted background to B+W with CS3's Black and White adjustment layer using the preset for high contrast red filter. Then tinted green with the hue and saturation slider.
I am not happy with my selection technique, its a bit rough around the edges.

Took the family to the Maryland Renaissance Festival this weekend (it was our 13th year in attendance). Hard to get many shots with having to keep one eye on the kids at all times. But I was able to slip away during an archery demonstration and get a few shots of the re-enactors with their long and recurve bows. I think my favorite is this one because of his expression. I've not given up on my recurve bow, but have now got a compound bow to play with. I've only shot it a little, and I'm still getting used to the bits it is allowed to have that my recurve bow isn't
