Another composition of the same subject. First I edited this in colour, but it would more or less just be a crop of the pano. So I decided to do another edit in B&W, with Silver Efex. This software is pretty new for me and I’m not entirely sure about the result, but at least it’s different from the coloured version and I do like the dark tones in combination with the northern lights and the moonlight, revealing the textures in the peaks of Verstrahorn.

I was framing this color filled scene with that man up on the scaffold trying to get everything in check when the other man in his dapper orange sweat shirt comes strolling in through that back door.... pick your center, frame, wait, wait, 3 - 2 -1 - click !!!!!

SOOC - I was tempted to crop out that foreground ceiling, but decided to use it to bring depth and guide the eyes inward.

Put your hand over it and see how the image flattens...
