Composite from multiple photos of my own. Should really be titled In the Dreaming, but I wanted to make a more known reference to the concept of The Dreamtime.
Honorable Mention in digital competition.
Thx Phlearn for your enlightening video (Refine Selections & Cut Out Hair - Part 03), especially its Quick Mask and Select and Mask segments!

Guy took this more of less by accident, but I really like it for some reason, blur and all. It captures the chilled out mood of the day.

We had something of an Indian Summer in the UK last week, which was just as well because the actual Summer was absolutely appalling.
At the weekend a new record temperature of 29.9 was recorded in Gravesend, while locally the temperatures got up to around 27/28, so we made the most of the record weather with trips to Odds Farm and the Riverside in Maidenhead.
Apparently temperatures in England topped those in Athens, Los Angeles and Barcelona. In your face, rest of the World!
A 22 image composite. This was more of a sketch really. I'm getting back into the practice of making these. I need to scope backgrounds.
I don't usually do composites but the sky was so white. Copy and paste.
Model: Fawn
Mayhem #1375051
Strobist: Two bare-bulb (don't ask) strobes at opposite 45-degree angles to the camera.
Nikon D5000
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
This is a composite photo of the finch and the tree that you see in the image. I took the photo of the branch and the flowers at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C., and I wanted to process it, but found it to be pretty boring by itself. I added the purple finch to create more interest in detail using layer masks in Photoshop CS6. The photo of the finch is not my photo, and I will post the link to the image at the bottom of the description. I believe the bird may be too small in comparison to the petals, but perhaps it is just a small bird. My watermark is also in the bottom right-hand corner for the "text layer."
