I bought a box of Jim-Pak components. Jim-Pak was Jameco's brand of individually packaged electronic components.

The box contained EPROMs (2732 through 27256) and CD4538 dual monostable multivibrators. In many cases the 30+ year old glue holding the blister to the cardboard has lost its hold.

I really like this new square taper crankset from Paul Components and like all their components, the finish work/anodizing is top notch. My commuter bike has a Paul seatpost, brake levers, disc brake calipers and quick release skewers on it. They've all now been on the bike through 6 winters and the finish on all those components is still in excellent condition,which is really impressive to me.

BCGEU Executive Vice Presidents are on the road!

From July 6-11, Brenda Brown, Mike Clarke, Mike Nuyens and Sussanne Skidmore will be visiting Chilliwack, Rosedale, Hope, Cache Creek, 100 Mile House, Quesnel, Barkerville and Prince George. Along the way they will visit with members at a variety of worksites and fire up the BBQ occasionally.

Driver Tom McMahon will make sure the EVP's and the new BCGEU RV get where they're going on time.
