This is a strip of PCB I cut with a Radio Shack nibbling tool as a test section to exactly hold 5 of my dual-alphanumeric LED displays. The nibbling tool loses a small section of board because it nibbles a ~1/4" swath through it, but the lack of sawdust, noise (I work late in a quiet apartment building), and the incredible precision of the cuts makes it ideal for me. I cut 4 of these board strips from a single Radio Shack board, and they worked perfectly. They hold 20 dual alphanums total, but I need to hold 45, though I'll probably go with fabricated PCBs for the finished product.
Component side of the board looks nomal, apart from the bulbs. It is clear there are a total of 4 wires coming from them to the PCB.

During the war, the British Army used two "machine carbines"; the Thompson - "Tommy Gun" and the Enfield designed and manufactured Sten Gun. Thus this training pamphlet covers both models.
The Sten gun was developed at Enfield to make up for the shortage of Thompson sub machine guns, which were also costly; a Thompson cost $200, the Sten $11. Early Stens were prone to stoppages, but the basic design meant that accidental discharges were frequent with careless handling throughout the weapon's service although in 1944 a safety modification was added to prevent as loaded weapon from discharging if dropped or jolted. This fault continued with its replacement in the 1950s, the Sterling sub machine gun, always referred to as "the SMG".
Components gathered and wires bent, ready to get building, I didn't cut a wire for the vertical line and a few others can't be seen. I didn't use a few in the end-- component leads were long enough for a few.
