A Portela encerrou na terça-feira, 04 de março de 2025, os 3 dias de desfiles das escolas de samba do Grupo Especial do carnaval carioca, no Sambódromo da Marquês de SapucaÃ, Rio de Janeiro.
Com o enredo "Cantar será buscar o caminho que vai dar no sol - Uma homenagem a Milton Nascimento", dos carnavalescos André Rodrigues e Antônio Gonzaga, a escola de samba ficou em quinto ligar no carnaval 2025.
