On arrival at the Cathedral in Santiago, pilgrims take their credencial or Pilgrim Record, duly stamped along the way, to the nearby Pilgrim Office and a Compostela certificate (still written in Latin, and confirming the completion of the pilgrimage) is generally issued. Walkers and pilgrims on horseback must have completed at least the last 100km and cyclists the last 200 km.

A casa atribuÃda a Cantaber (importante aristocrata de Conimbriga no século V) é a maior residência privada da cidade, com 3.260 m2. Foi construÃda no último quartel do século I e sobreviveu até ao abandono da cidade já na Idade Média. A fachada norte da casa possuÃa um pórtico monumental aberto para uma praça. As cerca de quatro dezenas de compartimentos que compões este edifÃcio estão distribuÃdas em cinco conjuntos, cada um com o seu peristilo. Foi dos primeiros edifÃcios a serem escavados, logo no inÃcio dos anos 30 do séc. XX. (Wikipedia)
Here were are in 2013, and i haven't posted a single shot, until now. There's probably a reason for this. a new year, new resolutions, new ways of seeing things probably? i just did not feel i could just continue posting like in a routine. besides, it's good getting out of old habits when it comes to angles, subjects, storytelling.
i'm revisiting shots from my iphone, and adapting them to a non square format. i think it's worth it.
anyway, happy 2013!
A rather tough one to shoot as i could recall. No space for me to move back as there were tables & chairs all around me therefore this compo isn't that great. To top it up, 2 men were arguing next to me over gals as i'm taking this shot. For a min, i thought i might just get bash up for no reason...really..its such an awkward situation esp when i'm waiting for those 30s shots to finish quickly... can't wait!!!! I was actually thinking if they happen to drag me into their fight, i'm sure my weapon of destruction - "mr tripod" will land straight up their ar** without 2nd thought :P Anyway have an enjoyable & trouble-free weekend ahead!
