Compliments of the Corbin farm, Spanaway, WA. Seen better days, huh? And what is that stuff piled up in front? BTW, I used a Singh-Ray color combo filter on this shot. It's a polarizer and intensifier all in one. Unfortunately I could never remember to use that filter.... so I sold it.
Compliments to the remnants of Hurricane Fabio to the south of us for the clouds.

Compliments of Brice Douglas, Luke Ruhneeesh and I were in Cedar Falls, Iowa (along with Erie boy and Tana girl) on a beautiful day in March for some of the absolute oddest motive power on a decent sized shortline if not any shortline. These flat nose F40PHs bracketing a pair of slugs. They can call these whatever they want (F40M-2C) but they ain't fooling anybody. This was the exact consist I wanted during my visit simply because nothing says Iowa Northern like this abomination. And man add a nice coat of dirt to represent late era, we're gonna cease to exist soon and don't care anymore IANR. We actually benefited from Brice's educated guess and didn't know what the power was gonna be til we found this guy on the other side of town. We spent a bunch of time at an incredible hobby shop in town too! And more time drinking later, it was a big day!

Now in the space the diver and the booted fellow
left, my brother and I are there
fishing together, our poles glinting in the water.
My mouth moves. My eyes are alive!
I cry to my brother with joy.
For that bluejay was a messenger of what I want!

Expired "Compliments" Brand ASA 400 Film on the Spotmatic. I'm pretty sure these are all through the Jupiter 9 85mmf2 lens.
A woman paid me a delightful compliment. She had just got onto my bus home and clearly noticed my dress at once. She really did not have time to make out that I am trans before saying, quite spontaneously, "I love your dress!"
While absolutely thrilled to hear it, I was at a loss how to respond. Do I just say thank you? Do I tell her I was very lucky to get it in for £7 in the sale and risk starting a conversation? I would like to reply with a compliment to her, but nothing sprang instantly to mind. Can I even say anything to her without my voice giving me away?
By the time all these questions had come into my head and I had recovered from the surprise of being complimented by a stranger, the moment was gone. She sat elsewhere and I did not follow her.
I realise I must do better at speaking to strangers, better at accepting compliments graciously and better at returning them. I just was not ready this time, but perhaps I will be better next time.
I took a selfie to commemorate the day, which I managed unobtrusively because I was in the back seat of an almost empty bus.
Compliments of ToolWiz Photos for aiding in this creation. As a result camera info has been dropped.
I'm not actually fishing for compliments, I just like that phrase... and bad puns.
So i decided to go for a little bit of a more subtle bokeh for this bokeh wedesday.

Apparently this new building was going to be a display of contemporary architecture but Doris wasn't entirely sure the wolf whistles were a display of contemporary compliments.

There's such a significance in completing a big project like a 365 days, and it's something I definitely want to try in the future (not anytime soon, lol). Congratulations to Fung for completing her 365 days!!! Many thanks for the inspiration, thanksgiving curry, and late night photowalks getting busted in the streets, lol! Congrats once again dude!
