I spotted this interesting decay on the side of a telephone box. The 'funny look quotient' was quite high while I was taking these! I must go back and try shooting from the inside looking out.
While crazy world is turning 'round, brings a lot of troubles and worries, takes all the time, the holidays approach. It's time to have some rest and communicate with the loved ones. To send our best wishes and share the hope and belief. And it leads me to the important understanding of communication itself. I think this is the only way we should follow - to communicate, to talk and find compromises.

Leica M8, Voigtlander CS 2.2/50 at F5.6. It is probably far too early to come up with 'results', but it is my educated guess that the lens works very well on both my Leica cameras and that to my surprise the old 10MP M8 (compared to the 24MP M Mono 246) is very able to keep its distinctive attraction.

It was with these first contemplative photos (I started in 2011) that I understood that perception, insight, explores an intelligence that is neither intellectual nor emotional, but visual. Perception, understood in this way, is equivalent to full attention, mindfulness. This visual intelligence is part of everyone; it is not a special talent or something rare. Contemplative practice is precisely the exercise of removing the veil that covers this capacity of ours, a veil formed by anxieties, expectations, judgments and haste.

We might say that communication consists of transmitting information from one person to another. In fact, many scholars of communication take this as a working definition, and use Lasswell's maxim, "who says what to whom in what channel with what effect," as a means of circumscribing the field of communication theory....

On my last foray through the streets, my goal was "communication in real life ". I found the two pictures interesting enough because they show different communication so clearly.
Here are two men who couldn't be more different in facial expressions and body language. The active part is open. Open hands, open happy face. Tells something pleasant, maybe also something constructive to his companion, which seems very introverted. The young man....reserved, taciturn but not emotionless. I'm not sure if he is listening. As if his thoughts are far away. Or he listens and considers what the other person says could be true. But he doesn't seem entirely convinced. His contracted brows says it clearly.
