I THINK that is the purpose of these towers. Against a very blue and breezy sky. Nice to remember, when it’s hot and hazy.

Hi Guys
Can't get into my flickr account to comment - can only email pics.
So this IS REALLY about communication.

Two icons of Britain, the red phone box and the red post box - side by side in rural Lincolnshire. Both looking good in the spring like sunshine. If anyone wants the post box number, it's LN2 46 in the village of Hackthorn.
This is a deserted communications post which tracked enemy incursions into UK air space. Long fallen out of use it is in a state of ill repair.

I saw a couple having dinner next to me, after they ordered food, they obsessed with their iphone, no talk, no communication, no eye contact for about 10mins.
Can we live without any technology for one day?
For me, the answer is No, lol...
CORAL SEA (July 14, 2019) An F/A-18F Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 102 moves to position on the flight deck aboard the Navy’s forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan is participating in Talisman Sabre 2019, which illustrates the closeness of the Australian and U.S. alliance and the strength of the military-to-military relationship. It is the eighth iteration of this exercise. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region. What a surprise yesterday morning! Many collembola were out but a specimen caught my eye !! it was much bigger and bigger than the other Fasciomsonithurus but maybe that red-eyed collembola is not one ... a Sminthurus?
I could observe two specimens, this big specimen is a male! and he is huge !!!
Frans is this albino collembole? or a new species?
I did not find a species like him on the site.
If we look in comparison with the Fasciosminthrus, the lateral and rear drawings are not similar The eyes are much bigger also
