Soldiers at the Command and Control Center for the Network Integration Evaluation 16.1 in fall 2015 at White Sands Missile Range, NM, use the GATR inflatable antenna. The result of a small
business effort for PM WIN-T, GATR is lighter and draws less power than current deployable antennas, thus bringing high-bandwidth communications to austere environments. (Photo by Jett Loe,

There comes a time in all good programs when components or subsystems must stop communicating directly with one another. This is often achieved via the introduction of queues between the producers of data and the consumers/processors of that data
Chiefs player (in white) decides with a minute to go that he doesn't want to hear about his lack of heart on the bus ride home. Losing a fight with a minute left after losing the game 5-0 is a horrible way to slog off to the bus kid. Better luck next time.
100 WORDS #23 - Dialogue
These two certainly are communicating without words. There is a lovely understanding between them!
I think they are having a dialogue on a telepathic level!

Childhood cancer is a family disease. Every person
in the family system is affected by the diagnosis, its
treatment and its prognosis. Investigators in the Center
for Biobehavioral Health are studying how families
cope during the entire spectrum of childhood cancer,
from diagnosis to survivorship or end of life. Findings
can help identify who is going to have trouble coping
and how to help them through.

Bob is the nicest guy I never met (until today). We started communicating on Facebook about a shared interest: Richardson. He ran across and recognized a few pics that I posted on the the Facebook, Suburban Assault group. We soon "friended" each other.
From the little bits of information I was able to gather from FB, I discovered that Bob is a petty cool dude. Like me, he also likes to ride around Richardson. However, since I ride in the morning, and he rides later in the day, we've never crossed paths.
Today was his birthday and he invited me and a few friends to take a ride with him around White Rock Lake. I had a great ride and really enjoyed meeting Bob and his really nice friends.
Here are some pics from that ride.
