There was a lot of communicating happening between the red-winged black bird community in the area where I was standing, including this male. I wish I knew what they were saying.
Bugs sitting on the camera bag that he has taken a liking to and gazing up at me willing me to understand what he is trying to communicate to me. He is so cute when he does this.

Sometimes I ride my bicycle through the places of strange calmness. It will force you to stop and unmount and observe. The forest communicate on strange levels with the soul. It keeps your counciousness out of the game, leaving only the weird sence of spiritual experience...
Communicating by written word, or even paying by cheque, are activities becoming outdated or obsolete. I love writing with this pen which I have had for most of my adult life, but nowadays such a pleasure is confined to birthday, greetings or Christmas cards.
Point Betsie Light is located on the northeast shore of Lake Michigan — at the southern entrance to the Manitou Passage — north of Frankfort in Benzie County in Northern Michigan. Construction began in 1854, but it was not completed until 1858, and began service in the shipping season of 1859.
The name Point Betsie originates from the Native American people who were in the area and communicating with the French at the time. The French "Pointe Aux Bec Scies" comes from the Indigenous word "Ug-Zig-A-Zee-Bee" which People of the Three Fires [Tribal] Council gave to a river flowing into Lake Michigan just a few miles to the south, where sawbill or Merganser ducks thrived. Translated, Point Betsie means Saw Beak Point.

I have zero intention to make a local political statement with my image here, rather a reflection/observation I see on a global scale when it comes to the intense polarization politics have been causing in societies.
It saddens me to read and see how polarized people can become over their political views and how quickly and deeply family members and old friends can break apart and disconnect from each other because of their opposing political views.
However intense and insane the world is becoming in front of our eyes on a local or global scale, and however insidiously propaganda hand in hand with social media will do their best to disconnect us every day, we should always remember to see the human being in the other person first.
Have patience to communicate, compassion to understand, and strength to accept each other's opinions.
The more sophisticatedly and aggressively media will tap into our instincts, the more harder it will become for us to see ourselves and each other, and the division just keeps widening between us.
This SavannahSparrow was flicking its wings when another one flew close. I am assuming this is the same behaviour as the Eastern Bluebird when partners flies back.
According to a Native American legend, Coyote was playing carelessly with his eyes, throwing them up in the air, until Eagle caught them and flew away with them. Coyote replaced his eyes with two ranunculus flowers, complex, multi-petaled blossoms, sometimes known as buttercup flowers. In the Victorian language of flowers, they are a flirtatious choice, used to communicate attraction. One photo a day. (64/366) -- March 4, 2020

The scarlet macaw (Ara macao) is a large red, yellow, and blue Central and South American parrot, a member of a large group of Neotropical parrots called macaws. It is native to humid evergreen forests of tropical Central and South America. In some areas, it has suffered local extinction because of habitat destruction, or capture for the parrot trade, but in other areas, it remains fairly common. It is the national bird of Honduras.
A typical sighting is of a single bird or a pair flying above the forest canopy, though in some areas flocks can be seen. They may gather at clay licks. Scarlet macaws communicate primarily through raucous honks; however, vocal communication is highly variable, and captive macaws are known to be adept mimics of human speech.
They also love to eat insects and larvae. They are seen feeding heavily on bugs, snails and foliage. Snails and bugs are great source of protein, as they need additional protein during breeding seasons. They also add flowers and nectar to their diet as a supplement.
While comparatively docile at most times of the year, scarlet macaws may be formidably aggressive during periods of breeding. Scarlet macaws are monogamous birds, with individuals remaining with one partner throughout their lives. - Wikipedia

• The *Scuttles hyperactiva* is a lively insect known for its ceaseless energy. Darting through dense underbrush, it thrives on nectar and tiny seeds, building intricate burrows with lightning speed. Its kaleidoscopic exoskeleton dazzles predators, while its rapid movements make capture nearly impossible. Social and industrious, it communicates with rhythmic leg vibrations. Revered for pollinating rare plants, this tiny dynamo embodies nature's restless, colorful vitality in a world of constant motion.
The Añisclo canyon or the Bellos river is located in the Pyrenees of Huesca, autonomous community of Aragon, Spain, south of the Monte Perdido massif, running straight south for more than 10 km, from the Circo de Añisclo at the foot from Monte Perdido itself, up to the confluence with the Aso river valley.
The Añisclo canyon is part of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, together with the Monte Perdido massif, Ordesa Valley, the Escuaín Gorges and the head of the Pineta Valley.
To the north, the Circo de Añisclo is closed by the Collado de Añisclo, between the Monte Perdido and the Sierra de las Sucas, a pass at an altitude of 2500 meters that communicates with the Pineta Valley. To the west, the Sierra Custodia and the Mondicieto separate this valley from the Ordesa Valley, while to the east, behind another ridge, are the Escuaín Gorges.
It is an impressive valley, which has a glacial cirque at its head, but which is later encased in a deep canyon, the result of the karst action of the river water on the limestone rock, in a succession of beautiful slides and waterfalls, between The ones to be highlighted are the Fuen Blanca or Fon Blanca, a source in the vertical wall of Pico de Añisclo (or Soum de Ramond) that falls vertically over the valley. In places where the terrain and height allow the growth of vegetation, the high humidity and the almost permanent shadow of the deep canyon, they produce dense forests such as the Flat Jungle.
At the height of the hermitage of San Úrbez, the Bellos canyon becomes more confined if possible and takes a NW-SE direction to the town of Escalona.

I Know Many Communicate With a Small Device
Telling the world their hopes, fears, and triumphs
So I will tell the world my stories of a friend I call nature
Showing that beauty of a creation started long ago
With canyons and mountains and valleys and ridges
I do so want to walk and explore, camera in hand.
Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one afternoon in Grand Canyon National Park while taking in views at Navajo Point. This view is looking to the west across temples, buttes, and so many other eroded formations present in this part of the national park. A small portion of the Colorado River can be seen in the left of middle portion of this image. By angling my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward, I felt I was able to create a more sweeping view across all these formations present. I later worked with control points in DxO PhotoLab 4 and then made some adjustments to bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.
