Nationwide Children's Hospital
Communicating in Cancer
Childhood cancer is a family disease. Every person
in the family system is affected by the diagnosis, its
treatment and its prognosis. Investigators in the Center
for Biobehavioral Health are studying how families
cope during the entire spectrum of childhood cancer,
from diagnosis to survivorship or end of life. Findings
can help identify who is going to have trouble coping
and how to help them through.
