Josh (foreground) and Johnny (background) with their Commodore V8. The boys had just finished having tea at the 'strip in Leederville. Doof doof was pumping out of their Commodore when they called me over to take their photo.

Nassau registered Ferry 'Commodore Clipper' slips out of Portsmouth Harbour - 6th October 2007.
The 'telescope' effect was created by not taking off the lens hood extension from the Nikon.
I thought it added a 'nautical' touch?
A forgotten shot from my trip to Vancouver last spring. The Commodore Ballroom is one of the city's premier music venues and dates back to the Depression era.
I've always wanted to see a show here. Arctic Monkeys were playing the night this was taken. The Ballroom accommodates fewer than a 1,000, providing the most intimate atmosphere. Or so I've heard. My friend is going to see Nada Surf there in March. I'm envious, but at least I'll hear from him what it's really like.

Hot Hot Heat plays the Commodore Ballroom. I was laughing at myself because I still knew all the words to "Naked In The City Again". It's pretty weird to think that after 10 years after bumping to them at a ferry that they are still kicking around as a band.
As always, I still wish they would return to the goddamn "Tokyo Vogue" days already. (It will never happen.)
