Holden Commodore at the Shannons Nationals at Sydney's Oran Park. This was Oran Park's final National race meeting, as it is being closed at the end of the year to make way for a housing estate.

The cheap Texet calculator which I bought for the office was doa. So I ordered this on ebay and it just arrived today. Approx. 35 years old too, and it still works. It takes one of the large 9 volt batteries though. This is my second Commodore LED calculator, I have a slightly thinner black one which I keep on my desk, and that too still works while being approx 35 years old also.
Taken from the plane after take off in Philadelphia on our way to Portland, ME. There was a lot of glare off the water and I tried to compensate for it but I liked the reflection.

For a short while, the lobby of this hotel was the home of Centerville's Minnie Pearl statue, but the statue was gone on the day I was there. It has been placed back a few years later.

Well something rather seismic has been happening for UK Matchbox collectors in that this is probably the first year in memory that no batches so far have been missed! They may not necessarily have appeared in proper alphabetical order but they have all shown their faces at various different retailers.
2025 Case F and G have suddenly dropped at Poundland, none in mine typically, and the latter in The Entertainer which is where I found this super freshly recoloured Holden VF Commodore SSV.
The casting has predictably been a HUGE hit with Australian collectors but its also been appreciated elsewhere especially when given the factory stock treatment. Gleaming in metallic black it benefits from full front and rear tampo detailing and may well be its best release so far.
