No matter where you live, the bike is the best means of transport for your daily commitments and your outputs. It's fast, it's fun and it's free. The thing changes when you have children, because you have big things to think about, especially in regard to their safety, comfort and the amount of things you need or you may need when you go out.

And if a child is still doable, 2 or more children on bicycles require special bike!

Every now and then we see two seats fitted in classic bikes, but still in many European countries is not allowed by the rules of the road. And, more importantly, it is not safe, even if you've never stopped pedaling since you were 6 years old.

Through the Aspire Mentoring Academy, AT&T will provide 1 million hours of mentoring to students at risk of dropping out of high school. AT&T launched this initiative in October 2011 as the key community engagement program of AT&T Aspire, the company’s $350 million commitment focused on high school success leading to college and career readiness.

The program offers employees three ways to mentor, providing a wide range of options for the different skill-sets and time availability of AT&T’s workforce. Through job mentoring, employees give job and career advice; through skills mentoring, they provide academic and life skills coaching; and through “e-mentoring,” AT&T volunteers can virtually mentor students on critical math skills. "This volunteer opportunity enables me to guide a student who might not get one-on-one direction and it also makes me feel good that I am making a difference in a student's education, especially someone who needs my mentoring help,” said Delia Hernandez, an AT&T volunteer who will mentor a 14-year-old student in math this year.

Raising a cat requires that you provide not only for its most basic needs, such as food and a clean litter box, but also for its health, its comfort, and its mind.

If you are interested in raising a cat, take the time to understand the commitment you are making and learn how to raise it right. If you do this, you are more likely to end up with a well-adjusted, happy, and healthy cat.

part of the sailor's creed.

there are three stone benches, each with one of these inspiring virtues carved into the front. i let alice pick which one to sit on, and she chose courage, which is sort of silly... considering just a few minutes after this she totally freaked out when she caught sight of the bronze statue of vice admiral james bond stockdale. granted, it was about 12 feet tall and quite looming, but still... courage? i'm not so sure. silly alice girl.

Artist Erik Blome used steel beams from the Twin Towers to create this memorial. Unfortunately, it's hidden away, between the 95th St. Metra station and parking tower. Unless you know where to look for it, or happen to walk past this sculpture, you'd never know it was there. Not a single area resident I spoke to knew of it's existence.

Several parts of the beams that were removed during the creation of the sculpture were used at the nearby Children’s Museum, and are featured behind an illustration of an American flag. They are part of the exhibit titled, “We The People.”

The hard work, determination and commitment of Aston students awarded scholarships to study at Aston University was celebrated at an annual International Scholarship Reception.

Press Release – ItsOurFuture.org.nz

The lead-up to Saturdays protests against the TPPA shows the commitment of people across the country to send a message that the government cant ignore, said ItsOurFuture spokesperson Edward Miller.Nationwide day of action against TPPA: “Ignore us at your peril” government warned

“The lead-up to Saturday’s protests against the TPPA shows the commitment of people across the country to send a message that the government can’t ignore”, said ItsOurFuture spokesperson Edward Miller.

A video shows young activists publicising Saturday’s nationwide protests with footage from Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin, Christchurch, and Nelson.

Action in the 22 centres starts at 10am in Raglan and many of the larger centre marches begin at 1pm, including Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

“People have been incredibly creative”, Miller said. “In Christchurch a giant plain-packaged cigarette packet will be marching in the crowd, while Auckland will be led by an enormous Trojan Horse, locked in a tug-of-war between major commercial interests and activist communities.”

“Around the country everyday kiwis will be photographed for a virtual campaign with signs saying ‘I am a ___________ and I say #TPPANoDeal.’ Already this campaign has been very popular.”

“Trade minister Tim Groser needs to recognise that people don’t buy the ‘trust me’ line. They want to be listened to when they say they don’t want the TPPA. And they deserve to be listened to.”
