Canva Magic Media bus and country scene.

Prompt - A bus filled with zoo animals going for a ride in the country.

I added eleven photo shapes generated with Magic Edit. Comical crow, cow, chicken, butterfly, cat, piggy, doggy, horse, lamb, gray squirrel. and Stop sign on bus (the one that was generated was spelled wrong).

I also added the text (name on bus) using Canva.

Filters, border/frame, and canvas texture are from Photoshop.

Thanks for your views, comments, awards, invites, and faves.

Two of these were gifts; the small cat one in the middle I purchased.

The odd Bush Stone-curlew. Always entertaining; always alert; but also always comical. At home, enjoying the sprinkler.

The Australian Galah is one of the most abundant species of Parrot - the noisy screeching and comical behaviour is a pleasure to view!

Bubba our French Bulldog so comical he would only look at you and that would be enough, so funny brilliant

Some shots of puffins taken on a beautiful day in June - hard to believe now! They are such cute birds and I have given them some daft titles!

Even swans have their moments...

#26 - Comical

Thank you in advance for your views, comments, and faves. They are much appreciated!

A fellow dog walker made Jack a coat. I put it on him and he refused to move, it was almost like a straightjacket on him :-)

Trying something a bit different - and having so much fun!

Edit: I've just cropped this, so it's smaller version of the photo I first uploaded.

Coot - a rather comical shot of a Coot having a drink, or maybe gargling :)

and "Can I take it home?"

I thought this was so funny - usually it's small things people pick up, but this kid picked a huge branch to take for a walk along the beach :-D

Taken at Himatangi beach, NZ. You can just see Mt Taranaki (one of our volcanoes) on the horizon in the middle. It's on land a long way north of us - the coast gradually curves around to that point.

The Brown Pelican is a comically elegant bird with an oversized bill, sinuous neck, and big, dark body. Squadrons glide above the surf along southern and western coasts, rising and falling in a graceful echo of the waves. They feed by plunge-diving from high up, using the force of impact to stun small fish before scooping them up. They are fairly common today—an excellent example of a species’ recovery from pesticide pollution that once placed them at the brink of extinction.

For all those who had a hard day at work 💋

This little figure was made by a friend of mine who creates a wide variety of dolls — some beautiful, some comical, some plain, some fancy.

One of the most fun birds we have here. Comical interactions with their close relatives the crows.

Laura Ford’s child-sized penguins appear both comical in their plimsolls and vaguely unsettling, like characters from and enchanted but disturbing fairy tale. Her installation which she describes as sculpture who are dressed as people who are dressed as animals, indeed conveys something ominous; the species of penguins threatened or endangered because of climate change and food shortages. Yet the endearing aspects of ford’s penguins echo those that make the birds popular worldwide, subtly calling attention for conservationists’ belief that our affection for penguins may be a catalyst for increased global efforts to save our environment. Viewed within this context the penguins appear confused, uprooted from their ever-decreasing native habitat, and flocking together for security within the alien confines of the gallery.

Ducking from being dive bombed by red winged blackbirds is sometimes a comical challenge!

To defend his territory and attract a mate, male perches on high stalk with feathers fluffed out and tail partly spread, lifts leading edge of wing so that red shoulder patches are prominent, and sings. Also sings in slow, fluttering flight. One male often has more than one mate. Adults are very aggressive in nesting territory, attacking larger birds that approach, and loudly protesting human intruders.

Neither graceful nor beautiful, warthogs are, however, remarkable animals. They are the only pigs able to live in areas without water for several months of the year. Warthogs are found in most of Africa south of the Sahara and are widely distributed in East Africa. They are the only pigs able to live in areas without water for several months of the year. By tolerating a higher-than-normal body temperature, the warthog is perhaps able to conserve moisture inside its body that might otherwise be used for cooling. The face is fairly flat and the snout elongated. Eyes set high on the head enables the warthog to keep a lookout for predators even when it lowers its head to feed on short grass. The warthog's large tusks are unusual: The two upper ones emerge from the sides of the snout to form a semicircle; the lower tusks at the base of the uppers are worn to a sharp cutting edge.

Puffins "come on newcomers follow me to the burrows and you will be allocated yours" Well that's what I though when I saw them.

Another in the series of images that I took of Charlie as she was trying to get through the gate, I just love that eye looking through and the intense look she is giving! so glad I manage to capture her like this before she passed away!

Daily Dog Challenge: Pet Owners' Independence Day

LOL this was a bit of fun! I intended to have us both and use the timer but it wouldn't work with the camera on 'illustration'.

Quite comical getting this shot, drivers thought is was a speed trap so were slowing down until they realised it wasnt.

I think these birds are so comical looking! We saw this one and some of its buddies in the yard of a house on a tiny back road somewhere in VA... or maybe we were in W VA then... I don't know! Have a great weekend everyone!

Created sort of a modern ‘still life’ tableaux, updated with comically enhanced fantasy sci-fi tech forms.

Halloween masks, whether they are spooky, comical, or eerie, provide a literal guise behind which we conceal our true selves for a night. This tradition of donning a mask to become someone or something else for a moment can be quite exhilarating.

However, in our daily lives, we often wear metaphorical masks to hide our true emotions, intentions, and vulnerabilities. Whether it's a mask of confidence in a professional setting or a mask of indifference in a personal relationship, these disguises help us navigate complex social situations and protect ourselves from potential harm.

Just like on Halloween, though, the masks we wear in real life can sometimes be a playful exploration of identity or a necessary defense mechanism, reminding us that we all have hidden parts that we choose not to share, and keep hidden behind the masks we wear.

My Rabbit-riding-a-Goose ornament rears it's, um ... FUNNY head again, for this weeks CrAzy TuEsdAy 'Crazy/Wacky/Odd/Strange' theme (8-Feb-2022) 🐇🐇🐰

What can I say.... I'm partial to these comical birds!

Just a bit of fun!! This is a macro shot of an onion with a face, almost human!

Flowers and flower pot

I loved watching these comical birds. They look so prehistoric to me. A group of them is called a 'confusion'. That is very descriptive of their erratic behavior.

wings in flight,

Just how it happened to be.

Beautiful birds, so comical but also so sad looking.

I've got 2 choices for this weeks theme - which collage makes you smile more?

The faves have shown this one has more smilepower than the mouses.

This weeks (4-Feb-2023) Smile on Saturday theme is 'copy-collage' - we had to use only one photo and edit it in different ways to create our collage.

I had fun 😁

If country kitsch is your style, try your local gardening center for some chickens like these. They are much quieter than the live ones. Nearby runaway ducks and chickens add some interest to my neighborhood, and occasionally need to be rounded up and returned to their home.

Pelican Portrait.... it's the eyes that dominate that comical face!
