Vogart 198. Comical vegetable fugitives from the "Garden Gang". A parade of amusing vegetables that play and dance on tableclothes, napkins, curtains and towels.
I have an inordinate love for this set of toy critters, which I bought as a Christmas gift for myself this year. They embody playfulness and creativity. They are colorful and a little comical. They are the Toy Critters of Love!
This was comical. This was a line into the shop selling the Pirates of the Carabian merchandise. There were two people who were actually directing the traffic and were calling out to people that there was a 10 minute wait till you could enter the shop.
Yes there are more than one shop.

Meerkats may look like prairie dogs, are really related to the mongoose. These comical creatures are inquisitive and alert at all times, you see them busily digging in the dirt looking for insects, making underground burrows.
These little carnivores live and work together in a group called a gang or a mob, helping each other to care for youngsters or keep a lookout for danger. If trouble is spotted, the lookout alerts the others and they all dash back into the burrows for safety. Fun to watch! :)
The Meerkat (aka: Suricate) is a small species of foraging mammal found inhabiting harsh open conditions in the semi-desert plains in southern Africa.
A member of the Mongoose family, Meerkats differ from Mongoose species in a number of ways with the biggest difference being that Meerkats are incredibly sociable animals, where most Mongooses are not.

Some of the most comical and fun-loving birds we have in Australia are members of the cockatoo family, the Little Corella's.
They are clowns and love to play, a habit that is uncommon in the bird world. They wrestle with each other and will lie on their backs with their feet in the air, just chilling. They love to hang upside down by one foot or their bill from a branch.
Corella's have been known to slide down steep roofs, falling off the edge and flying back to slide down again. Another wild ride they love is hanging onto windmill blades or sitting on roof exhausts and spinning around.

In downtown Jacksonville, Illinois, on October 31st, 2020, outside the Journal-Courier building at the northeast corner of West Morgan Street and South West Street, a "contributing property" to the Jacksonville Downtown Historic District, 100002915 on the National Register of Historic Places.
The building is from sometime between May 1892 and March 1899, per my review of Sanborn fire insurance maps of Jacksonville at the Library of Congress website. The 1899 map shows it as the "Courier B'ld'g."

I guess I should replace the ten year old spool of weed trimming line. The powerful weed wacker spit out more line than necessary causing a long piece to be cut and flung somehow at my left arm.
Of all the injuries I've had mowing, this would be a 7 out of 10: significant profanity (earmuffs required for nearby kiddos). 😳
Another slightly comical shot - on this photo the bird is about to swing the fish into the branch for about the fifth time. If you look closely, you can see where the bottom of the beak has actually sliced through the minnow. Gruesome.
