My pictures of Milwaukee's lakefront in the snow continue, which is fine, because I have nothing else in the can right now, so I might as well draw this out.
My ultimate destination for the day was a little park up on the bluff in the village of Shorewood, the first Milwaukee suburb along the lake shore north of town. Big, expensive and expansive mansions line the bluff in Shorewood, but the village preserves a sliver of park with a lake view in between. There's a set of stairs here that climbs down to the lake. Or you can sit here on a sunny day and enjoy the view.

This dusky Canada Goose has been at the Rithet's Bog pond for at least a couple of months, hanging out with the Mallards. It has become entirely comfortable with its duckish friends, and they seem to accept it as one of their own.
Manchester United secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, with Marcus Rashford once again stealing the show. The England international scored in each half to take his goal tally to 24 in all competitions this season, his best return in a United shirt, and played a crucial role in Jadon Sancho's goal as well.
The win keeps United in the hunt for the Premier League title, as they are now only three points behind Manchester City and five adrift of leaders Arsenal, having played a game more. The victory also opened up a 10-point gap to fifth-place Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their match against West Ham on Sunday.
Despite the comfortable scoreline, United did not have it all their own way against a resilient Leicester side. The Foxes had scored eight goals across their previous two games and had chances to take the lead in the first half, with David de Gea producing two outstanding saves to deny Harvey Barnes and Kelechi Iheanacho.
However, it was United who took the lead thanks to some centre-back mistakes from Leicester. Wout Faes' pass was intercepted by Marcel Sabitzer, and as Bruno Fernandes looked to play the ball over the top to Rashford, Harry Souttar stepped up too late to play offside, leaving Rashford with time to score.
Leicester continued to press for an equalizer but were ultimately undone by United's superior quality in the second half.
