"Green Woodpecker" colourscheme 3-ply handspun, ujsing 2 shades of green merino, black Shetland and slightly dyed tussah silk (using blueberry and coffee as dyes)

This is from Moor Street Station. The whole station is designed to look and feel like an early 20th century train station, complete with a steam train on the tracks outside.

The use of the hand pointing in the direction on the sign definitely brings to mind the style of the time, as well as the simple black and white colourscheme, the block capitals, and the moulded sign rather than just paint on a surface.

This sign is really in keeping with the style of both the bar, and the surrounding area. It is just opposite the hippodrome and is an upscale place for theater goers.

The colourscheme of cream and navy is both subtle, and also makes the sign stand out. The use of the serif font adds to the feel of class that the bar strives for.
