On Thursday November 1, 2012 Furniture Master David Lamb and Painter James Aponovich unveiled White Mountain Breakfront at the Currier Museum of Art. This breathtaking cabinet was their latest collaboration. Guests enjoyed live music by Celticladda in the Henry Melville Fuller Winter Garden. White Mountain Breakfront on view through January 7, 2013.
29th September 2016 at Milton Court, London EC2 (supporting Marouane Hajji).
Part of Transcender Festival.
Country: Morocco. Style: Sufi Music.
Lineup: Bachir Attar (v/ghaita/gunbri/lira), Ahmed Bakhat (v/violin/taarija), Mustapha Attar (v/ghaita/lira//taarija), Abdeleslam El Moudene (v/ghaita/t'bel), Abdellah Bakhzar (v/t'bel/darbuka), Mohammed El Attar (v/t'bel).
The Jebala musicians from the village of Zahjoukah (or Joujouka or Jajouka or any other Westernisations of its name) in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco became famous internationally in the 1960s through the attention of various Western writers, poets and Rock musicians. For several decades there have been two rival groups claiming to be the "true" embodiment (distinguishable through different spellings of the village name). This one owes it claim to hereditory succession of the leader (apparently something not followed in the past), and has been far more successful in being invited on international tours and cross-cultural musical collabrations (due to the leaders ability to speak English and his spells living in New York), but has the lesser presence in the village. I saw this group in London in 2009 during Ornette Coleman's Meltdown Festival. Both supporting Coleman in the Royal Festival Hall and doing one of their own performance on the terrace outside.

I think my work making the pond pretty was graced by a collaborator last night. This morning her web full of rain hangs right next to the pond. It is taller than I am and about 12 feet across.
Last night I noticed a large spider starting to make her web at the edge of my pond at about 8:45, just before dark. I took some photos and even a little movie during the next hours. And, this morning in the rain, here is her web above the pond.
A series of photos of her working on it last evening into night are below.
Also there's a little 30 sec. movie, bad quality, but you can see her moving busily!
(I'm trying to pick up the link - its the first image in this spider series in my photostream. And the last one in the 'night spider' set))
A small layout with the Imperial Armada. This was build for the Time Twister collabration for Bricks am Meer 2018.
Recycled doll shoes grew into odd Eye Robots 7 of which were shipped to a collabration of optometrists at a retreat in Florida and are happily enjoying the sunshine there..
Pinewood Back Nine 5k and Fun Run Presented by Smith Closser and American Automated Payroll @Legend Oaks
A New Line was a series of collaborations between several New Zealand based poets and jewellers. These photos are just a taste of the night itself.
This photo was shot on a Leica M6 ttl with a 90mm Leica Elmar. FIlm was Fujifilm Neopan 1600 asa that was developed in Ilford ID-11.
