This was supposed to be iced tea with lemon... only the lemon essential oil I was sure I had wasn't there. So added some fragrance oil, and it smells soapy. It smells good, just not what I imagined!

Aaaaand, the cold process soap fascination continues. So I decided to try using buttermilk in place of water today! Wooooo! And adding some poppy seeds! It's chilling out now...it might change color, so I've got it in the freezer to hopefully slow it down or prevent it from going completely beige or brown...the lye likes to burn the sugars in the milk apparently...

First batch of #coldprocesssoap on the left, fourth on the right. Those first cheap colorants from Amazon are HORRIBLE. I definitely learned you get what you pay for. The colorants I am using now from @nurturesoap are SO MUCH BETTER. I know I say this eve by Anna Hirsch
