This was supposed to be iced tea with lemon... only the lemon essential oil I was sure I had wasn't there. So added some fragrance oil, and it smells soapy. It smells good, just not what I imagined!

This batch was especially lovely. I love soap ash, it always adds the perfect touch I think.

Aaaaand, the cold process soap fascination continues. So I decided to try using buttermilk in place of water today! Wooooo! And adding some poppy seeds! It's chilling out now...it might change color, so I've got it in the freezer to hopefully slow it down or prevent it from going completely beige or brown...the lye likes to burn the sugars in the milk apparently...

Cold process soap scented with a blend of bergamot, cassia root, cedarwood, nutmeg, lavadin, and peppermint essential oils. Colored with wallnut hull powder. Corn meal for exfoliation.
