This is a bank vault door part. We saw it in a shop that occupies what was once a bank.

PS: This was posted earlier but brought forward in order to place in groups for comments (originally not put in any groups)

I’m kicking of the first weeks of the New Year with some new MOCs! I’ll be working on a few Red Cog mechs throughout the year. Inspiration draws from the KG bots in the Jak and Daxter series.Feel free to add to the theme. =)

Red Cog: Locust

A superior bipedal robot used for “quality control” of the Qunitos galaxy. The Locust units in particular serve as the “poster boys” for the RED COG faction. They, along with their mechanical brothers were developed to aid in conquest of the Korthos sector in the Quintos galaxy. Every factory produced mech is clad in red armor and sent off for battle, defense, or surveillance. Currently the RED COG faction has been met with resistance from surrounding planets, as well as both HERO FACTORY and Earth issued forces.

Typical RED COG mech weapons include blasters, energy beams, bombs, missile launchers, spinning blades of death and sniper rifles. The standard hand to hand combat is not out of question either. There are numerous types designed for different environments and assignments.

Enjoy! This also serves as my concept idea for the group project -Disty- started over in www.flickr.com/groups/1412762@N23/

This is a macro image of cogs you would find inside watches, I used extension tubes to push the magnification range by using a normal house lamp to light as I knew it would give a nice golden glow.

The cockpit opens up to also reveal the Robotonaut General who is controlling the action from inside the robots brain.

The Cog Railroad was constructed between 1866 and 1869. The "Cog" is the first cog railway to be built, the inspiration of Sylvester Marsh, a local New Hampshire businessman and inventor. He first envisioned the idea of building a railway up Mount Washington after his initial ascent to the top of Mount Washington in 1852 and set about building a means by which the many could be brought to the top of such a wonderful mountain. It's steepest grade is 37.41% while the grade averages 25% on its 3 mile climb. Its a wonderful experience.

The Cog is Starfall Enterprises basic soldier frame. Build from the ground up to support the incorporation A.I. The frame is easy to maintain and versatile. It is able to be equipped with numerous different load outs. Starfall makes quite a hefty sum off of the royalties for these things. Which are deployed through explored space.

Made for Mobile Frame Zero.

For 115 years, the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway (the world's highest cog train, the highest Colorado train AND the highest train in the United States) has taken passengers to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak.

Yesterday was Bike Club. How could I resist a 1:1 closeup of the rear gears? Given the light I need f3.5 to stand a chance but the DOF was too thin so I stacked a few together. Cunning eh?

..........so this is part of a non-functioning emergency radio/flashlight that you crank to give it power. thought that i'd chose a vibrant colour for the background since the cog itself is black ~grin~
