End view of my modern-industrial coffee/media table consists of baltic birch plywood and angle iron. Getting a high luster on raw angle iron required an extensive process of sanding. The interior of the angle iron has been sandblasted and the whole steel structure has been treated with a clear metal protectant.

This coffee table is compact, smart, stylish, and most of all durable due to its solid oak frame with oak veneer finish. For extra effect this item can be used with the Zeus Dining table as part of a set or it can even be used on it's own as either way this table looks great. Being a tiny tot scarily close to being able to grab the top of the coffee table. We are hoping he'll wait another few months before hitting this terrifying milestone.

...Immediately after placing the board on the coffee table,... a strange ethereal glow filled the room, and I could've sworn I smelled the pungent effluvium of olive oil and garlic...
Oh wait a minute, that was from last night's dinner,.... still wafting through the apartment... hmmmm, nevermind..
The title comes from an episode of "I Love Lucy" where Lucy has a seance in her apartment, and this strange little guy (Mr. Merriweather, Ricky's boss) asks her.."Do you wee-gee"?... priceless stuff!!

I don't know why I like this picture. maybe because it is a small glimpse into my life. Things that are on the coffee table are; my feet, travel mug, my deoderant, knitting needle case, high-speed card reader, gameboy advanced, newest issue of Entertainment Weekly, scissors, Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield( current reading material), Lost Season 2 DVD booklet, Olympos by Dan Simmons, one of my belts, my cell phone and a few other books that I can't remember what they were. It seems that I own the coffee table , I see none of my husband's random clutter here. Or I'm just the bigger slob.

Here is the top surface of a Coffee Table I made from an inverted Sycamore Tree Stump. This project took me about 8 months to complete. The entire underside of this is hollowed out, leaving about 2 inches on the side walls and 3 inches of thickness for the table top. I also turned 3 bun feet that are 2 inches in diameter that are embedded in the underside that hold the whole thing off the ground about 1/2 inch. It needed to be hollowed and elevated to lighten it, allow for airflow and to keep it from attracting insects. I used a chainsaw, an Adze, Carbide Chainsaw blade on an Angle Grinder, Electric planer, Belt Sander and about 30 gallons of sweat in the process. I am glad it is done and will soon be out of my shop!

What you need:
- pallets
- saw
- hammer, nails
- abrasive paper
- glaze
- screws, carriage bolts
- caster wheels
From the First Pallet Create the Top of the Table
The standard pallet (80x120cm/31,5x47,25in) was too big for our livingroom, so we sawed the first pallet in half.
From the Second Pallet Need the Slats in Order to the Top of the Table Won't Be So Gappy
So remove slats from the second pallet with help of hammer and chisel then remove all the rusty nails. Or use an ironsaw but in this case the nails stay in the wood.
Position the picked slats with nails between the slats of the top.
Here need the rest 2 slats from this second pallet to strengthen the legs of the table - and will be also a holder.
From the Third Pallet Create Table Legs
The next step is the polishing. Cut a piece of abrasive paper - to the easy polishing use a small piece of slat. But the even easier polishing use a grinding machine :) And polish the surface of the coffee table smooth.
After that paint the surface with wood stain. It's the most entertaining part :)
Almost the last thing, hole where the components will join each other. Use carriage bolts in order to the coffee table will be durable and fix the parts.
Finally position the caster wheels on the bottom of the table and fix themwith screws.
AND your unique coffee table is ready :)
