This was taken Fri about 1:30 when it was Kathy’s turn to drive again. She had to have caffeine and this was the first place we saw with a café sign. This a long haul to-day, left at 7:00 and as it turned out arrived at Puerto Escardio about 4:30. We gave a fellow from Edmonton a ride to the Acapulco airport since it was not out of our way at all. I would put him late fifties, traveling with a backpack, mainly busing it all over Mexico and Central America all winter, and with not much more Spanish then me. More nerve though
I'm posting these pictures for B.E.C.K., who wanted something that shows this charming coffee shop in our neighborhood. There is a Starbucks moving in around the corner, but I can assure you, this place has nothing to fear from the Mermaid (except perhaps people buying Bob Dylan's new CD...)
