I used the coffeeshop action -colour pop to help bring out the blue in the sky... i should start learning to do this myself rather than actions. but hey.
i find my d5000 tends to come out with rather dull colours when I get home and look at the pics, this action I could therefore use to help rectify this. alternatively, i think, once we actually have some sun and no wind and I get to take some new photos, I may try fiddling with the exposure or vivid colour setting when shooting.
Hwa Mui's is arguably Johor Baru City's oldest traditional kopitiam. This is the section where black coffee, tea and tea mixed with coffee (called cham) are concocted for the connossieurs of fine kopitiam drinking.
A professional set-up: 35-40 pounds of green beans roasted per bowl.

okay, not a coffee shop, but i am a huge fan of the new manhattan no-car islands (pedestrian plazas?) along broadway. comfortable chairs and tables, great views of buildings and people, and plenty of choices of food and drink. can one ask for more?
