Coffeeshop I finally visited after passing its neon sign for years; turns out to be a huge, busy place open since 1998, with other Iowa locations! Pastries, ice cream, sandwiches, etc. And the last week of Jan. the central Iowa NBC affiliate had 5 days of live reports several times a day from here, leading up to Iowa caucuses.
after a trainride from almost 2 hours! We needed a pitstop! Jo ordered one coffe, the rest on the plate you see is a bonus!

That was also last Sunday when temperatures were still summery. The sun was shining on my legs in thin, shiny tights and I felt very comfortable. I got some compliments on my dress and legs from other guests.

Again the manager of the coffeeshop made me laugh. He is a very humourous gentleman who always welcomes me with special attention.
Me and Don sat at the coffeeshop to sketch. The 2 old men next to us was just enjoying the peace and quiet and talking about everything under the sun. The tranquility was a nice change for us especially for me.
