Visited Wimbee Creek Farm in Seabrook, SC yesterday. They grow fields of cut flowers and supply the area with beautiful bouquets, workshops. It is a delightful experience. More images of flowers will follow.
The day started with sketch time with my 14 year old grandson..both of us drawing the same mug of coffee! We have very different line! Lol
Made a camping trip to Bridgeport CA. My first outing in over a half year. I encountered some buried barbwire and ended up on the losing end.
No cuts just hurt pride and a twisted ankle.'
The rest of my time was regulated to the campsite. I received plenty of companionship from the local rodent community. I have enough shots of Chip, Dale and all their cousins to last me a lifetime.
Yesterday we left because of smoke from near by fires.
I hope the critters are okay.

A real photo without using Photoshop !
I had an exposure time of 2.2 sec and after ~ 1 sec I took the cup quickly away.
The background are two red and blue plates.
No lamps, just indirect evening light.
If there is one thing in this world that I really love, its coffee. It makes life almost bearable. I can't believe in a couple days its going to be February and I haven't taken a single photo in January. Why does that make me feel bummed out? I'm not sure, I guess I got it in my head that I always needed some kind of photo "quota" that I need to achieve but that's just untrue.
We are blasted with thousands of photos everyday and think we need to do the same but its okay to only take a handful of photos throughout the year that you like.

happy saturday all :)
OK, it's Co-Op own brand, cheapest I could find coffee beans because they are just props, so yes, I'm going to use them...a lot, before they go off...Do coffee beans go off? They smell great at the moment though. And yes, it's a bit of a cliche, but it's good to do these shots periodically and nice to use some old smoke shots from 2012!
