This Aynsley Bone China of England - Green Reaburn pattern - circa 1775 comes with 2 size cups. Presumably one for coffee and one for tea.
Bears can be trouble around the house. Certain areas are off limits to them. The Kitchen and the music studio. Both areas can be a problem. Huntley was caught stacking these up. Your guess is as good as mine.
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
Listen to birds chatting in the morning when the sky turns from black to blue and pink, shy at first and full of energy shortly...
Wait for the morning mist to leave a trail of little stars that sparkle in the grass while the sun rises and paints the canvas of the sky...
Breathe the crisp air... Have a coffee...
Small things at the start of a new day... Small things that bring comfort and calm...
...for coffee
posted for HSS!
It must have been the colour which attracted me to buy them.
I did not see their photographic potential at the time.
I thought I could handle the theme for Crazy Tuesday this week but....
having originally held the subject firmly in mind, I somehow then deviated, remembered these tiny coffee cups, and was carried away.
And then of course realised it was just handles that were required.
I enjoyed playing anyway. Have a nice day!
just take a break... pause and be lazy... give yourself a moment of calm and let your mind simply wander...

The setting is reflected in the silver coloured cup and saucer.

Welcome to September days! Autumn is just around the corner! 6am and I am greeted with brisk air outside and a cup of hot coffee. I can always tell when autumn is here because the nights start to drop below 60 degrees. I have noticed the days getting shorter as well. Before we all know it, we'll be snuggling by the fire on a snowy winter evening!
small little flowers appear in the snow...
It's the dawn of the year, February...
The silver and white winter will soon leave and spring colours will return...
Life is different every day... sometimes good, sometimes "bad"... we are happy, we are sad...
There will always be things and even people who will fall through the cracks... We have to acknowledge this and accept it, there is nothing we can change in the past... in order to make the cracks smaller we should let the past teach us how to see the present.
I like to use the morning to set a goal for the day... the path to achieve it is the adventure. Some paths are easy, others not so much, but in the end they should all be meaningful.
A still life shot of two pink macaroons, a coffee cup and saucer along with some books on a table.
Developed with Darktable 3.6.0. Color-graded and film grain added in Photoshop.
This caught my eye and I didn't have to even touch the cup to photograph it, until after, when I put it in the recycling bin.
I love Bob Dylan albums. Any one of his songs could have very well been my "lockdown song". I picked "One More Cup of Coffee" for the theme. It has a catchy rhythm and it is easy to bring to life in a photograph. :)
Bob Dylan - One More Cup of Coffee
Your breath is sweet, your eyes are like
Two jewels in the sky
Your back is straight, your hair is smooth
On the pillow where you lie
But I don't sense affection
No gratitude or love
Your loyalty is not to me but to the stars above
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below
Your daddy he's an outlaw
And a wanderer by trade
He'll teach you how to pick an' choose
And how to throw the blade
And he oversees his kingdom
So no stranger does intrude
His voice it trembles as he calls out
For another plate of food
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below
Your sister sees the future
Like your momma and yourself
You've never learned to read or write
There's no books upon your shelf
And your pleasure know no limits
Your voice is like a meadow lark
But your heart is like an ocean
Mysterious and dark
One more cup of coffee for the road
One more cup of coffee 'fore I go
To the valley below
Just like the moon, everybody has a dark side... But what is that dark side?
It's not something we can clearly label and put away... it's different for everyone of us and over time we just add layers to it.
We should acknowledge it... it's part of us and it can't be removed... but we can take a break, have an honest conversation with ourselves (maybe over coffee 😉) ... and hopefully over time we make it lighter.
