Can AI "photos" coexist with the "traditional" imagery? Who are we kidding. Can't imagine a Hollywood movie without AI. too many to mention

Do you feel "betrayed" when (if) you found out a photo was an Artificial "photo"... are we getting used to being "lied" too?

Things are likely to become yet more complex as use of artificial intelligence by artists becomes more widespread, and as the machines get better at producing creative works, further blurring the distinction between artwork that is made by a human and that made by a computer.

The St. Pierre Cathedral is a cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland, today belonging to the Reformed Protestant Church of Geneva. It is known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. Inside the church is a wooden chair used by Calvin.

It was begun under Arducius de Faucigny, the prince-bishop of the Diocese of Geneva, around 1160. It was originally built in Romanesque style and was completed a hundred years later in Gothic style. A Neo-Classical main facade was added in the 18th century.

The area beneath the Cathedral has recently been excavated extensively, revealing a history of the site dating back to the time of the Roman Empire.[citation needed] From the 8th to 10th centuries it was one of three cathedrals to coexist on the site. The present building has grown from a cathedral devoted to ecclesiastical use and an early Christian funerary cult; the other two structures, subsumed in the 12th century by the growth of the surviving building, were apparently for different uses, one for public sacraments and the other for church teachings.

The German painter Konrad Witz painted an altarpiece, the so-called St. Peter Altarpiece, for the Cathedral in 1444, now in the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Geneva, which contains his composition, the Miraculous Draught of Fishes.

Currently, every summer a German Protestant minister is present, making it possible to hold bilingual services and meetings of both German and French Protestant worshippers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Pierre_Cathedral

The park was inaugurated in 1999, designed by Fernando Pugliese, with the sole intention of being a sample for all religions for Holy Week, and then permanently built, being the first theme park in the world dedicated to Religion. In the year 2000, the park was blessed by the then cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the current Pope since 2013.

Never let anyone tell you that it's not possible to farm in predator country because it is. Shepherds and herdsmen have been doing it here for centuries and without fences. The difference here is that the sheep are never without a shepherd and LGDs present.

There has been lots of bear activity in and around the village over the past days so the dogs were on high alert. We also have wolves and lynx in the area so the dogs have to work as a team to maintain an effective deterrent.

I was walking with Bandi, one of the village shepherds and five of his livestock guardian dogs.

A beta run this afternoon of our new robot vacuum had Sable collecting all her toys and stacking them by the back door, as if to signal her displeasure with this new "member" of the family. Only time will tell if the two can coexist in harmony.

Here on Cape Cod there are over 450 species of amphibians, reptiles, fish, birds and mammals. These include the ones that delight us: humpbacks, osprey, chipmunks, cottontails, turtles and great blue herons. Then there are the vilified: bats, fishers, opossum, voles, raccoons, rats, skunks and snakes. And, of course, the most maligned and misunderstood of all: the coyote and the fox.

One of my valued contacts in Maine wrote to me today and I realized he's no fan of the coywolf; I am, but I respect the proper distance with this animal. At one time or another, all of the animals I've mentioned have been hunted, captured or exploited by humans for food or just for fun.

Times have changed. People are beginning to recognize the important part these species play in the delicate balance of our ecosystem. People have begun to appreciate the wildlife that surrounds us instead of fearing or hating the presence of wild animals.

My friend Heather, a wildlife rescuer, took the above photo. More people observe these animals with awe and appreciation, shooting them with a camera, not a gun. Unfortunately right now we have a legally-sanctioned Coyote killing contest right here in Barnstable.

Most wild coyotes and fox fear humans. They are not ruthless predators. Their diet consists of mostly fruits, seeds, small rodents and amphibians. They are nature's clean-up crew.

If you kill coyotes and foxes, the rodent population surges. If the rodent populations surges, you have introduced more ticks and diseases like Lyme into the environment.

Coyotes and foxes struggle to survive in this harsh world wanting shelter, food and an opportunity to raise their young. Just like us.

Let's learn to incorporate diversity in all its forms from the glorious whale to the humble field mouse to the coyote and its brother, the eastern red fox.

Somos tejido vivo

It was two weeks ago; subjectively It feels to me as a different era;

Is was after the three Israeli boys and the Palestinian one were murdered,

but before the events between Israel and the Hamas started.

It was the first Ramadan Friday.

It was very hot and tensed in Jerusalem,

and I had doubt whether to go and shoot at the old city, after the prayers, or not.

Finally I decided I would (a decision I did not make in the two following weeks :-().

It was not fun.

The prayers rushed from the prayer to their buses.

Hundreds of policemen (with their horses and arms) were all around.

I hardly took any photos.

But then I saw her, and she saw me too.

I don't think she liked the fact that I was taking her photo;

but she does not seem angry, needless to say furious, at me;

maybe more curious.

Can there be a dialogue between us?

Can we coexist in a mutual respect?

This is the poem time leaves behind.

*Working Towards a Better World

I have been thinking long and hard about why our present day psyche has changed so drastically and have come to the conclusion that we are bringing up our children to focus on the ego, rather than the community. It seems to me that we put too much emphasis on material things and not enough on the spiritual or the whole. Yes, we need to teach our children to succeed and do their best but not at any cost without caring about others. We seem to encourage greed rather than sharing, perhaps we need to concentrate more on cherishing each other, our climate and the environment. When we work as a team we produce more through the sharing of ideas and creativity.

We need to coexist better, be more understanding, less critical, more open, less closed. Together we can achieve a great deal more than alone.

I have chosen the colours black and green because of their meaning found on the Color Pro: Color Meaning website:

www.color-wheel-pro.com/color-meaning.html

"Green

Green is the color of nature. It symbolizes growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety. Dark green is also commonly associated with money.

Green

"Green has great healing power. It is the most restful color for the human eye; it can improve vision. Green suggests stability and endurance. Sometimes green denotes lack of experience; for example, a 'greenhorn' is a novice. In heraldry, green indicates growth and hope. Green, as opposed to red, means safety; it is the color of free passage in road traffic.

Use green to indicate safety when advertising drugs and medical products. Green is directly related to nature, so you can use it to promote 'green' products. Dull, darker green is commonly associated with money, the financial world, banking, and Wall Street.

Dark green is associated with ambition, greed, and jealousy.

Yellow-green can indicate sickness, cowardice, discord, and jealousy.

Aqua is associated with emotional healing and protection.

Olive green is the traditional color of peace".

Black

"Black is associated with power, elegance, formality, death, evil, and mystery.

Black is a mysterious color associated with fear and the unknown (black holes). It usually has a negative connotation (blacklist, black humor, 'black death'). Black denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal, elegant, and prestigious color (black tie, black Mercedes). In heraldry, black is the symbol of grief".

Black gives the feeling of perspective and depth, but a black background diminishes readability. A black suit or dress can make you look thinner. When designing for a gallery of art or photography, you can use a black or gray background to make the other colors stand out. Black contrasts well with bright colors. Combined with red or orange – other very powerful colors – black gives a very aggressive color scheme.

Interestingly I have followed a few articles written by the New York Times columnist, David Brooks, who has written recently 3 interesting articles about this subject, On April 7th he wrote an article entitled

"What Candidates Need",

www.nytimes.com/2015/04/07/opinion/david-brooks-what-cand...

then on April 11th he wrote an article entitled

"The Moral Bucket List"

www.nytimes.com/2015/04/12/opinion/sunday/david-brooks-th...

and finally today he wrote an article entitled

"When Cultures Shift"

www.nytimes.com/2015/04/17/opinion/david-brooks-when-cult...

I find that David addresses many of my concerns quite well in these articles so decided to share them with you.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! xo❤️

The relationship between some ants and aphids is an amazing example of mutualism. The ants stimulate the aphids to excrete a sugary substance referred to as "honey dew" by stroking the aphids with their antennae. The ants actually herd and even carry the aphids to a host plant where the aphids feed from and then produce the honey dew. In turn, the ants will protect and defend their herd of aphids and will do this to an unusual extent. If this is something you are unfamiliar with, I definitely suggest looking it up to learn more!

Manatee & Fish CoExist At Sea Wall Of My Blessed Apollo Beach Florida Home - IMRAN™

I was standing at the wall of my pool deck watching boats go by when I noticed a huge manatee in the water next to my sea wall. I immediately went in to grab the Nikon D850 and took a full zoom 300mm handheld photo. I did not have access to any filters to make the photo have less of a greenish yellow tinge that Tampa Bay, Florida, water has at this angle of light reflections.
